RE: Indian Guy Game/Travel Thread
If you don't have a thick enough skin to hear another guy's experiences and hearing that a sizable number of ethnic women, at least in the US, would readily fuck a white guy before a brown one then don't come on this thread.
Everyone is going to have a different experience and they'll share that, deal with it.
But moreso lets get back to this rude confrontational attitude.
I mean chill the fuck out rookie and if you genuinely wanted to know how to do well in online dating, you would have referred back to the page I told you about instead of being so damn sour over me saying a sizable number of ethnic women in the US prefer white guys.
We are all more than happy to talk online dating but if that is what you actually want to talk about, then make a post about that rather than taking shots at me because seeing some pale white guy fuck a hot brown girl makes you that angry. If you don't want to have that discussion then don't bring it up and at least go to the page I told you about to get the advice you want.
Now if you want to drop the shit and talk online dating instead of going against someone out of your weight class, lets do that.
BTW, you're welcome.
Quote:Minorities can most definitely slay on online dating and have great results, I've seen it with my own eyes and had a good deal of success with both Bumble and Tinder. What's weird is I heard it myself many times that women hate Indian men online and that whole squat, almost bought into it because at first I wasn't having much success with Bumble. Then I looked at profiles of my roommates and compared them to mines which was just selfies and boring pics. I think with a profile that is done well enough, a minority can have results on the same level as a tall good looking white guy assuming he is good looking himself. Even saw a viral post a while back of some brown guy with an FC Barcelona jersey who was getting matches out the ass on Tinder, not sure of where to find it now though, will have to look for it.
It is all in the story your profile tells and I think this is where white guys usually shine, they're usually willing to go out of their way to put together a real strong profile.
What I have noticed about guys who suck with online dating is that they are hideously ugly or lack the cool factor needed to succeed on a lot of these apps. You have guys that take bathroom selfies or pics of low quality that end up failing on these apps and blaming it on race but I've seen white guys who didn't fit the mold fail hard too. Your pics have to tell a story and have to say that you are a cool fun guy because the women on Bumble and Tinder are all about the fun factor.
While I can write a post about it, the one thing I'll point out is that anytime you come across a profile on Bumble of a hot girl, really observe the pic rather than just the girl herself. I used to notice how some of the girls who were insanely hot were not just hot, they had really well done pics. The pics were high quality and that is almost mandatory if you are a guy trying to get matches on these apps because you have those quick few seconds to get their attention.
For anyone struggling with online dating, I urge you to invest a lot in the quality of the photo. Any high quality photo won't do, it almost has to be a certain type that is a match for the app itself (pun not intended). Next time you are on these apps, really observe the profiles of the girls that stick out as hot to you, not just how hot they are. Observe how their pics are being done and if you have friends that are cleaning up on these apps, observe the way they do their pics.
Quote:Since we're on that topic, I do want to share some Bumble specific tips for Indian guys who are serious about having success on the app instead of whining about how white guys have it easier.
1. Be honest with yourselves and don't have unrealistic expectations.
If you're overweight, have very plain facial features and don't look good then I would pass on this app. I would tell a white guy the same thing, you need good looks in order to do well on dating apps. Way too many FOBs with guts, mustache and 70s clothing complaining about getting no matches on Bumble and how they can't compete with a Chris Hemsworth lookalike, be real with yourselves first and foremost.
Even if you are a above average or handsome as an Indian guy, don't expect to constantly match with hot blondes on that app because that doesn't even happen for a lot of handsome white guys. On the other hand, do expect to get matches from decent looking women from across the color spectrum. Most of my matches were either ethnic women or white women with brown or dark hair, no complaints on my end.
2. High quality pics, no exception.
I see way too many brown guys using selfies, this does not work. Unless you are ripped and extraordinarily handsome, don't rely on selfies. On the other hand if you look great without a shirt on then one high quality mirror selfie will do but a shirtless of you on the beach taken by someone else is far better. Have a photographer friend or real photographer take high quality photos of you that look generic instead of coming off as a try hard. A well done photo makes you look real and natural so try to have one done at a park or somewhere in public.
3. Pics of you with other people, preferably of other races, no exceptions.
Bonus points if you can get one with your friends of other races, preferably white but any other race will do. Pics of you with other people shows social value and the fact that you actually have friends. My main pic on Bumble was me at a Halloween party with two girls and two guys, it was high quality and got me matches like crazy. I was also dressed as Khal Drogo and managed to pull that off quite well, you need to be in good shape in order to do it though.
Pics of you with other people show women that you are a fun guy to be around and they can expect a fun time being around you. I'd say you make most of your pics to be pics with other people and one or two pics to be pics of just yourself. Make pics of you with other people your primary pic so women are forced to scroll down to see the rest of your profile and take an extra second to make a decision.
4. Get a vibe for the good pics by observing the good profiles.
As I mentioned earlier, the next time you are on Bumble and see a profile of a girl that really sticks out to you as hot, observe how the pics are done. Look at how they are presenting themselves and look at the quality of the photos. Lots of people make those quick split decisions based on the colors and photo quality, make them play to your advantage. If you can find a friend that kills it on the app, observe what kinds of photos they are using. Slowly start to experiment until you get the quality pics yourself, lots of trial and error involved there.
I see a few profiles struggling where guys get model pics done but the pics just look sort of bland, try to get a feel for high quality but also natural. I'd recommend using photofeeler and taking the pics that get the highest ratings.
5. Get the language and vibe of Bumble, it is geared towards the young and cool crowd.
The guys I found who killed it on Bumble were also the guys who were popular with women in their younger years. In many ways, Bumble is a high school popularity contest brought to real life. The guys who get the language and vibe of the app can pick up on what approach to take with it.
I'll say that the guys I know who have wrecked havoc on Bumble are the kinds of guys with over 1k Instagram followers who get 500+ likes per pic, they get the language of popularity. Now I was late to the game and still don't have a killer Instagram account but I learned from guys that did, they pick up on what kinds of pics to use and what kinds of bios to put on a profile. Try not to take yourself too seriously on the app, have a light-hearted sense of humor.
