After nearly 5 months in South East Asia my trip will come to an end soon. I found out a lot about myself and the world that surrounds me and I still know that I don't know much.

I will do long trips like this every year for the next few years at least. I want to do that as long as I am young and as long as I can bring it in order with my main job.

The thing is, just living in a nice, modern, small apartment with swimming pool and gym in a big (maybe even shitty) city for meeting and fucking girls, doesn't satisfy me. I need something else to do there that has some meaning to me. (Btw: Just traveling for the sake of traveling also doesn't satisfy me for too long)

Doing the stuff that you can find when you search for something like "What to do in Bangkok (insert any city)" on google does satisfy me even less. Going to a temple or other touristy stuff in most cases isn't worth the money, time and effort for me anymore. It gets old. It's more like doing something so I've done something... like it would be for the most locals.

Even if I would try to convince myself that hanging out with girls and fucking them would be enough, every person and every girl that I get to know will remind me with questions like "What did you do yesterday?" "Why are you in this city?" that this isn't what satisfies me.

So let me tell you, what I did on this trip to handle it and I hope there are other people with thoughts like this and some solutions.

A really good friend visited me in the middle of the trip for four weeks and we did a motorbike tour around Vietnam. - It was an awesome time, but to have a good time with a friend, you need such a friend who has time etc. I also didn't fuck girls at this time. It was nice to spend time with him, it was also nice to get rid of him after four weeks (I don't mean that in a bad way). That's always my dilemma, I always need changes. I handle it while combining traveling by myself or with strangers and traveling with good friends. Normally I focus on the girls most of the time when I'm by myself and don't travel that much anymore.

I did two massage courses in Bangkok. - It was lots of fun, I learned a lot, I met cool people, it got me out of my comfort zone. This is something I really can recommend, if you think you could like to do massage. That's what I mean, something that lets you live in a more or less pussy paradise city, gives you some purpose that you enjoy doing, that lets you meet cool people and that still lets you enough time left for the girls.

I am going to do a diving course in Koh Tao. - I'm sure it will also be fun and all the other stuff I mentioned for the massage course, but it's something that doesn't let me live in a big more or less pussy paradise city.

Of course I also did stuff like hiking etc. but there is no routine to that.

The problem is, costs for stuff like this will add up. I can do it, but I can't do it all the time. I'm looking for other ideas that don't cost (that much) or maybe even let me earn some money or let me have something (lessons, accommodation, food, etc.) for free. It would also be cool to be part of something like a yoga school or whatever which can also lead to social connections.

Groups, activities and meetups that you can find on couchsurfing.com , meetup.com , or internations.com can sometimes also be nice.

What comes to my mind is doing volunteer work or internships at stuff that seems interesting to me. I just don't know how to find something like that in pussy paradise cities.

Having friends and a social circle at the place would also help, but it's very hard to find someone, that interests me and to whom I can talk openly about all my views on the world. I'm very picky when it comes to people I spend my time with. Girls have it a bit easier in this case because of their pussy, but in the end I also don't want to spend time with them anymore. Of course being alone isn't nice either, that's also an underlying reason of everything written here, so it's new contact after new contact after new... Sounds arrogant, but I'm sure there are guys that have the same problem.

I hope you guys have some ideas and opinions to share and discuss about how to get some meaningful activities and interesting and inspiring contacts, when spending time in pussy paradise.

I would suggest creating a fitness/gym goal.
Anything gym related because I've found its the first thing to go when you're drowning in pussy.

Second, might i suggest learning a language of a place you'll want to visit in the future.

I'm location independent and my income doesn't need too much time, so it's important to be creative and have challenges. I find life isn't satisfying if pussy is my top priority.

This year I'm learning kitesurfing and Spanish and continuing to work on Russian, meditation, and yoga.

I track my daily habits in a graph to see how consistently I'm doing it.

If you are interested in the culture of the country, spending a lot of time in an area and connecting with the people on a deeper level I definitely suggest the language classes idea.

I'm currently doing 4 hours a day of spanish monday through friday here in South America. I really enjoy it and it's a great way to fill up my day, while still leaving me time for girls and other activities. I think I would probably be a little bored otherwise without the classes.

Depending on the country it can be quite affordable too. I am paying something like $6.50/hour for private 1on1 lessons.

Of course, Spanish is a much more manageable language. I'm not sure trying to learn something like Thai is even worth attempting.

OP - you brought out some interesting thoughts with honesty about the realities of travelling. Well done on that.
The fact is that for most it is quite difficult to know what really interests you. It is like trying to glimpse the tail of a flying bird -- it is hard to keep focus and your interests keep changing.

One exercise I learned is get a piece of paper and go to somewhere where you are relaxed and quiet - meditate a bit - maybe even some sounds of water flowing. Then ask yourself -- What Do I Love -- in a blank mind. Keep writing whatever comes to mind without thinking. After getting a list of 20 - or more thoughts - then review them and pick the top 5 or so ideas.

That is what you should focus on for the next while. One should do this exercise at least twice a year. good luck.

I agree with WTF on learning another language.

However, I don't think Thai is worth while. I am multilingual and tried to learn it. Basically Thais will pretend not to understand you even if you get the pronunciation right.

That said, language acquisition is an excellent way to spend time living the good life and reinvesting in yourself in pussy paradise. Between language exchange, apps, traditional lessons and Youtube its possible to get a good start on anything from Spanish to Japanese even in Thailand.

Seriously? I would have thought countries with loads of non-native speakers would be more tolerant. Do you ignore tones?

Yes, that was my experience. Your mileage may vary especially if you are East Asian as my teacher mentioned on several occasions that other Asian language speakers make much quicker progress than English speakers. Languages such as Vietnamese or Chinese that also have tonality will make that aspect of the language easier as well.

I did very well a six month course but still feel as if I don't have much to show for it. At this point speaking Thai is like being a great guitar player. It's an interesting conversational topic but it can easily become a crutch that handicaps the rest of your game. "Hey, look at me, I can monkey around in Thai but I'm still an ESL teacher with wrinkled cargo pants."

I'm generally the most pro language learning guy around but I'd focus on style and cash first. PM for an excellent tailor. If you are absolutely sure that you are going to stay 10+ years or marry a Thai then start moving toward the language.

I’ve also had to deal with this issue during my long term travels. I mainly travel for women, and I find that my time in between dates, day gaming, and online gaming can be isolating, unfulfilling, and dreadfully lonely. I’ve spent extended periods in various countries, but as a recent example, I lived in Ukraine for 5 months and I filled my days by first going to the gym, then private Russian lessons, then trying to hang out with guys that I would meet in country to build a social circle. When I was with girls they would always ask about my day to day activities, and I learned early on that girls aren’t impressed by a guy who doesn’t work (even if you’re financially independent), so I would lie and say I was busy working, and that I do all my work remotely on my tablet/phone. I date lots of women during my travels, but even with persistent gaming and dating, I would still spend many days/nights alone. During a quick vacation or even a 4 week stay somewhere, this wouldn’t be a noticeable problem, but try living this way for 5 months and it can really get to you. I can say that when I made male friends, and cultivated those friendships by hanging out with them consistently, it was the closest I came to not feeling lonely. I did have a girlfriend for 3 months in Ukraine, and when things were good between us (2 of the 3 months), and I also had guy friends to hang out with, it was the perfect combination. With all that being said, it was always a mental chess game to live happily in a different country when my only reason for being there was the women. Also, I don’t drink alcohol, and I always think that if I drank I could have something to do on my off nights like drink at random bars and make more friends. But I can tell you straight up, I have achieved all my lifelong goals... I’ve made enough money to where I no longer need to work, my game and success with women is decent, I’m in great shape, have lots of friends and I’m well liked and respected by my peers. But my love of the pursuit of women in other countries has come with a heavy isolating price. Sometimes the happiest moments of my travels are when they are over and I return home to be with people who really care about me.

I'm in the same boat, spent half a year in Asia, and dating beautiful women is wonderful, but then you also want to be using your youth outside of dating on productive endeavors.

If you can land a remote gig, that takes care of this issue, but it also introduces constraints on your life.

The best solution is what Kyle Trouble, Rooshv, Pieter Levels, and Maverick Traveller did, along with several members of the forum, which is to create your own business that can be attended to online. In that way you can not only occupy your free time in between orgasms during the day with something that satisfies your intellectual curiosity, but also, it creates a surplus of income which creates opportunities for more growth as well as enlarges your future options.

It's what I've been working on for the last two and a half years and have succeeded in doing in large part, but not 100%.

Still at it, it's a worthwhile endeavor, and the man that achieves this state is not the same man he was when he began the journey.

I know that feel bro. Unfortunately I find myself incredibly lazy when I'm in an SEAsian city for 2 weeks, I usually sit on my ass until 2pm, visit some malls, bang a girl in the evening and if not, drag myself to a couple clubs. What I plan to do in the future is visit universities more often and perhaps (if there for months at a time) offer to lecture, tutor, or help out on campus in any way. Online you can always post your services for tutoring whatever subject you learned in university, and get in on campus life this way too.

Volunteer work would probably your best bet. It would get you out of bed in the morning because you need to be at your "job" on time. You would be around other people, doing something productive and feeling good about yourself because you are helping others. I would also spend my days focusing on health and fitness and reading and learning as much as possible.

The world is full of beautiful places. Mountains, Lakes, Waterfalls, etc. Eastern Europe lacks these places but if you're somewhere else, find one near you and go out and see it. They bring a smile to my face every time.

Some good ideas here. I will summarize it:

- going to the gym
- learning a language
- meditation
- yoga, qigong, hiking etc.
- doing an extreme or fun sport activity like surfing, climbing, diving, etc.
- start or resume working online

So far so good. I'm still hoping for some precisely verbalized bigger ideas. Most of the ideas above are just small daytime activities that can fill gaps in the days and many of them will have a positive impact on your life in general, if you are doing them right, but there's not much in the list that can fill whole days, weeks or months with meaning and with a reason why you are at that place. Much of it is stuff I do all year long anyway.

PS: Don't think of me if you write Ideas. Think about a list that helps people here in general. Very specific Ideas connected to very specific places are very welcomed.

Great ideas, these are basically something similar to what I have at the moment. Still missing on a bigger passion though.

There are plenty habit trackers apps, both for Android and iPhone, some simpler, some more sophisticated. Or you can do one in Excel, then process it inside of it or export a csv file for a more sophisticated data analysis and visualisation with, for example, Matplotlib, Jupyter, Pandas, and Seaborn (the last one is really cool in its capabilities).
