Soldiers march to songs about what's happening to their wives while they're away at war, shack up with locals and then come home pretending none of it happened on either side.

She's young, you're young, she thought she had to play the role of a loyal girlfriend to keep your attention, probably because she correctly detected that you're very clingy and insecure and would go Maximum Beta if she told you the truth, that she likes you and wants to see you but that you are very far away and she's lonely. You had delusional, unrealistic expectations and went more than a little crazy when you found out that the world was not meeting them.

If you were both more mature, you would have both understood that yes, you had a fun summer, but you also have your own separate lives and that you're probably fucking other people. She would have drawn a line about you being a clinger and/or you would have known well enough not to do it. (Why ask stupid questions you already know the answers to and don't really want to hear? "OMG, are we girlfriend/boyfriend now?" No, no you're not.)

Don't get mad, don't get even. Get better at life, learn from your experiences. If I were in your position, I'd return the money - it's a shameful reminder of you making a fool of yourself and threatening to take your own life because your childish naivete was torn away - but whatever. Good luck.

People actually believe this guy got some money from the girl and her boyfriend? I dont buy it for one bit given his delusional tendency, plus the simple fact: we know how heartless women are with men they have lost / no attraction to.

I've heard guys threaten suicide when a girl leaves them all the time. I was dragged along once when a girl I was friend with broke up with her "clingy and annoying" ex (her words). The guy came in, begging and crying, then yelling and threatening that he would hurl himself into traffic if she left him. I could see the annoyance in her eyes as the last vestiges of whatever sympathy she had for him disappear. Then she said:

"Do it. I dont care anymore". And this is your typical sweet girl next door type.

Guy was shocked and blabber on for a while, then storm out of the cafe. I was about to run after him but instead of running into traffic he just left.

I learn that moment on that girls are utterly heartless and contemptuous of weak men, just as I am towards fatty. I bet if he actually committed suicide she wouldn't even care.

Remember that Michelle Carter chick who encourages her "boyfriend" to commit suicide and told him to get back to the car and suicide when he decided he didnt want to do it? She's still not in jail btw.

Dont believe for one sec this alpha victim got anything other than pity and indifference from the girl, if the story even existed at all.

The poster was clearly a troll from the start of its posting here, and almost certainly a banned former member. Why anyone would believe ANYTHING that it posted is beyond me.

There are several more forum trolls that are in need of banning as well. I'm guessing they just haven't crossed the BH line yet. Frankly, I think that anyone who "reps" obvious trolls like this one, should face a 7 day ban when the troll they repped gets banned. (Maybe my troll tolerance is too low.)

OP's version of events depicts this guy as being just as much a confused beta as he is, and probably desperate to believe she's a hero in this story.

I agree - never underestimate the SJW liberal Blue Pill Betas and their beliefs in all kinds of issues from fake anti-bullying agenda to potential public shaming if OP convinced the progressive boyfriend that he would go ahead with the suicide while his last Facebook message being the blaming of them online.

There's something extremely on-point about his self-obsessed way of looking at things that leads me to believe he's not an intentional troll, although he's definitely a little delusional. It's incredibly hard for most people to fake this kind of thinking.

Here, he tries to threaten people with suicide. It's not unlike the teenage girl trying to give her parents the silent treatment to punish them. "I'm so incredible that I'll punish you by TAKING MYSELF AWAY FROM YOU."

In an earlier thread, the first time I noticed him, he was claiming that he believed his girlfriend would appreciate the huge sacrifice he was making by being faithful to her. He seemed extremely anxiety-ridden about maintaining her loyalty.

At the time, I interpreted it as someone trying to take the red pill and choking on it. Now it's more obvious what it was.
