At least, that was my first impression about a study from dating website WhatsYourPrice.com. The website apparently polled its male users in different cities to find who was the most "generous" when paying for a first date. When it comes to average total dollar amount, Philly men came in second, offering to shell out a whopping $396 for a first date.

Here's the rankings:

1. San Francisco - $422
2. Philadelphia - $396
3. Dallas - $236
4. New York City - $207
5. Chicago - $205
6. Spokane, Wash. - $204

Seriously... this town is probably on of the best places to get laid in the US. The women here drink more than any other place I know.

Yeah if you've been fucking a girl at least a year it's ok to treat her to something nice. I don't, in my 2 long term relationships I wasn't trying to drop more than $50 on anniversarys (more like $20-30), there's no benefit to spending $400 on a date as far as I'm concerned. Hell Valentine's day I get the cheapest box of chocolates I can (under $10) I'd rather spend extra money on clothes, stuff for the crib, good bud and drinks.

People from Washington, esp. redneck washington (non-seattle), seem to be heavy drinkers. Does that sound correct?

I don't see the point of whatsyourprice.com girls are there to get paid to have you buy them dinner or drinks. Seeking arrangement is much better, they will meet you for dinner or drinks for free maybe even go for the free bone in hopes of getting the back end money
