I used to be a HUGE football fan and I still appreciate the game from a physical and tactical standpoint but man I look back at how brainwashed I was and cringe. I had a lot of misplaced loyalty. Part of growing up for me was realizing my favorite team, my "hometown team" (the Minnesota Vikings) were really just a private corporation that didn't give two shits about me, my home state, or anything. They care about butts in the seats and making money. I spent years and money investing in the team, but for what end? They don't care about me. I'll watch a game here and there but it is no longer a big focus in my life.

They arrested the guy who flipped a car. As I stated earlier, the worst people were all upper class frat boys, many of who don't even live in the city.

Dude is from fucking Malvern, one of the nicer suburbs in PA. Makes sense I guess, all the worst stuff is from people who have never had a bad interaction with the law.

Parade is scheduled for tomorrow. Estimates for the turnout have ranged from 1 to 3 million people. This is going to be huge, if you live in the area I wouldn't miss it, even if only to laugh at the inevitable shenanigans. I know people flying in from all over the country who just want to be a part of it.

Yeah it's crazy, the size of the parade is literally going to be limited due to many people being unable to attend since the trains are sold out and there are only so many places to park.

This is good advice. I remember I was doing a driving course and the instructor was in the passenger seat. I was in the back, My friend was driving. Preppers are fundamentally wrong. The S is never going to HTF, as long as there is enough bread and circus, and they will make sure there will be enough of that. It's quite telling that the main riots that do occur in the West are trivial outbursts related to that "circus" of sports.

The reason why the S won't HTF is because men with guns (mostly white and Christian) would take over, so they just can't let that happen, at least not before the security/police state is beefed up a few more notches still. The economy is constantly being artificially throttled, small businesses impeded, big businesses consolidated and their ownership further concentrated, technology suppressed, capital hoarded by the 0.01%. There has been tremendous tech leaps like the PC and the internet which have boosted productivity, but the gains have completely siphoned off from the middle class, which has been constantly shrinking in the last 4 to 5 decades.
