How are you guys keeping up with the current Pop Culture trends? Learning Pop Culture is a great way to relate with females in their 20's. What kind of music/youtube/websites/blogs are you reading to keep up?

Let the girl tell you whats going on in pop culture and attempt to understand why anyone gives a fuck about pop culture. Then change the topic to something else like some old war story you have or travel or history or something. They usually know what time it is when it comes to that stuff.

Honestly the pop-culture rundown you can get from girls on a daily basis is time well spent...just make sure you get the full rundown and forget the majority of the details she will no doubt give you.

Many in the trenches pop-culture warfare battles where won this way.

I let young girls just talk about that shit. I don't even listen, and they could care less that I am or not. They just want to feel knowledgeable on subjects, and would rather study trends than risk looking like a fool at more complex subjects. Makes sense.

Turns out that by banging younger women, reading RVF and watching the odd video my cousins post on FB, I have enough current info to be able to relate, should I choose to.

I'm thinking the best way without becoming too much of a degenerate is listening to cultural critics like Jordan Peterson or Camille Pagilla... Peterson will give you a psychologist/ philosopher/ student of religion's perspective while Pagilla will give you more of an old feminist angle. They're both really interesting to listen too. To a lesser extent, and for more entertainment, Gavin McInnes. I also find Chomsky pretty hilarious, but he hates commenting on pop culture. And this would be a really left field recommendation, but Slavoj Zizek is super entertaining, and you get a eastern european, marxist, psychoanalyst angle. It really depends on the angle you're looking for.

I regularly read Breitbart to keep up with leftist pop culture trends, but Taki Mag is also a good source, that focuses on longer form pieces.

I'm going to tell you something that has become evident to me over the past six months and has helped my game immensely.

There is no need to build rapport with girls you are fucking.

I used to jump over myself to engage and pander to whatever the girl I was interested in was also interested in.

Then I realized that as an alpha, every interaction should be framed as the girl chasing you. You are bringing her into your world, and there is no need to seek rapport with her. In fact, by actively not seeking rapport, she will chase you and her attraction for you will grow.

The college-aged girls I have had as fuckbuddies did not care that I knew about "pop culture" or not. In me, they saw an educated, intelligent older man that they could learn from.

I agree with corsega - there's also usually some other things we have in common not at all related to pop culture.

When it comes to LTR game and current events, I usually just try and find a way to work in a "grab her by the pussy" reference.
If she laughs, she's a keeper.

You don't have to pander, but what do you think it is that led to them knowing you are an educated, intelligent, older man. It's the conversations you had which in turn built rapport. You don't need to go out of your way to learn pop culture to build rapport, but you do need to build rapport in one way or another to sleep with a girl most of the time.

Yes, I guess I should clarify, there is no need to built rapport by pandering.

However, rapport can still be built by simply shutting up and letting the girl do the talking. She will chase rapport and come into your world.
