Yes you need to come from a well off family to be involved in that sport, but that doesn't give you a right to ridicule his success. Trust me riding that shit aint easy, especially in a competitive manner. I trained for a year before I gave up.

There are thousands of millennials from very well off families who get involved in this sport at an early age, a very few accomplish anything in this magnitude.

I said that he is certainly high IQ and his family is a group of high-performers vs the 50% inbreeding rate that reigns in most of the countries.

And yes - I still think that the sport heavily aids those with massive wealth. You need to work on the skills, but when you have more than 2 daughters of billionaires in the top 10 of a sport, then this should be clear.

In asia billionaires usually leave their daughters out of the dynasty when it comes to inheritance. Foreigners who marry into the family also don't get jack shit.

The daughters will get paid a stipend in a living trust type setup but usually that also comes with strict rules.

It's firmly patriarchal in most cases.

Moving to Asia from the US will be one of the smartest decisions of your life. You mention Saigon. The pro to Saigon is the natives are much more worldly and English speaking than their northern counterparts. The con is it gets hotter and more humid.

The more well-off families put the family wealth into a trust anyway. Occasionally a son can become the joint administrator of the inheritance, but he does not have access to everything on his own. This has been done for quite some time already for old money families.

The heirs can either join the family business or build something else from scratch - massive changes of investment holdings as in sale of the previous business and purchase of another - those have to be discussed by many parties.

Bill Gates has said that he will put 95% into a foundation similar to the Rockefellers (while still controlling the foundation of course).

Of course Asians are also correct that most women have far less interest in business and are not willing to work countless hours in order to continue building it.

I see this every single day where I am- in fact, I see it far more pronounced than this example. Out of all the attractive girls I see every day only very, very few of them are with guys who are clearly above them, definitely the minority. The vast majority are with average dudes or even dorks. The reason for this is a slightly higher percentage of naturally attractive fit/thin girls than many U.S. cities, combined with dudes having little real competition, and the location not being a top destination for most.

I guess this is why you don't find me complaining about American girls quite as much as my fellow American brahs- at least regarding girls' looks, though attitudes are getting worse all the time, that is universal. Perhaps I should appreciate this circumstance more- as Joe Walsh said, I can't complain but sometimes I still do.
