Been reading up on the difference between these 2 platforms. I always browse past NEM on coinmarketcap in the top 10, but I've never heard anything about it.

From what I can gather, NEM is a "for dummies" software, like Wordpress, making building on the blockchain easier. Ethereum is more like an html/php/css type platform that you can do more with, but need a lot more expertise.

Is this accurate? What would be the reasons for using NEM over ETH and vice versa? Can someone explain it in baby language?

NEM does not do smart contracts as far as i know. So its not really two system worth comparing.

Its just strictly a payment system.

Nem is Japanese. So it’s got that going for it.

Interesting. I think many businesses won't even need smart contracts. I think ease-of-use will be a big factor in who the big winners are in this space. For the same reason Wordpress powers almost every single small website nowadays.

Speaking of ease-of-use, I saw this yesterday while looking at cryptos during the correction:

Seems to be point and click smart contracts. I was actually pretty surprised that they had something so intuitive up and running. Not sure if there's anything like it out there (Etherparty? - looks like it's just an idea so far)

I passed on it yesterday but already up 50%
