What's interesting is that she was apparently married to a pornographic director/producer, so we have to assume he was (or could be) taking care of her and she'd never have to get an actual job outside of porn. “It was just awful. It’s still recent where I have to keep myself occupied or else I start thinking about all that s**t and then I fall into a depression,” she shared. “I try to do therapy. I hate that word. I hate therapy.”

The Ventura County Police confirmed to Radar that Ames took her own life by hanging on December 5. Her death occurred only days after she received backlash on social media for choosing not to work with an actor who had previously starred in gay porn.

My theory is that due to her history of being sexually abused and molested as a child, nobody believed her story when she was growing up. Factor in lack of family support and you see a young woman with serious depression issue that can lead to suicide.
