Social media honestly might be the most destructive force currently at play in the West. Which is really saying something. But it's unbelievable how quickly and readily social media corrupts young people (especially women) and turns them into narcissistic, attention-whoring drones who literally have no concept of a true identity. When you are constantly anxious about what others think about you, it's impossible to build real self-esteem (hence the constant push to preserve peoples' sensitive feelings), the only thing that matters is how you appear to other people. Everything is facade. There's no inner reality, no sense of being a person independent of the judgment of one's peers. These people don't actually exist in the normal human manner. Rather, they inhabit a pseudo-reality created in their mind based entirely on the perceptions of those who view them. They become disconnected from engaging in the real world and living in the present moment, and their focus shifts to carefully curating a social media image that exists independent of their actual reality. In other words, social media is literally making people insane.

I believe this sort of thing is called "vlogging". Casey Neistat popularised this style and it seems a lot of people copied/imitated the style. Also seems really big in California. I am subscribed to a few of those channels.

What's the point of spending decades becoming a successful man and raising a child if they turn out to be as disgusting as this daughter? Where is the incentive? There is one allowance that has to be made for the girl in this case, which is that narcissism is to be expected in teenagers. It is a normal part of development of the personality, one that under normal developmental conditions fades and disappears as the person hits their twenties, their brain fully forms, and they start to realise that other people have fully formed lives that do not intersect with theirs.

The first problem is that the System has essentially programmed adolescence to continue indefinitely. At the present moment it appears to be continuing on to the late thirties if not late forties. The main reason for this is because adolescents tend to be the biggest consumers: narcissism is marked by making yourself a brand, one that other people perpetuate, and the fastest way to become a brand is to use lots of pre-made brands to label yourself.

Second problem is that in addition to mass narcissism, we also have an epidemic -- exemplified in both not objecting when one's daughter decides to become a porn star down to permitting her unrestricted access to an iPhone at the risk of one's job -- of parental insecurity. I know many white doctors who have their kids in Mandarin classes. Did that help them become doctors? "I want them to be able to compete." With whom? Mandarins? Seriously, what world do you envision in which Mandarin is the deciding talent, except working in Mandaria? Which is great if that's what they want to do, great if the kid is interested, but otherwise is this really how you're plotting excellence? "It also teaches you to think logically." So does actual logic. "It looks good on a college application." Everyone hates you.

Parental insecurity, in its acting-out form known as "Helicopter Parenting", has a lot in common with Greek tragedy. Narcissus's parents were given the prophecy "He will live a long life, if he never knows himself." As a result they smashed every mirror in their house so he could never see himself ... never know himself. And the Greek tragedy played out: when Narcissus caught a reflection of himself in the pool, he had never been given any chance to build resilience against that event, and therefore fell into precisely the trap his parents had spent a lifetime trying to avoid.

Same thing with helicopter parents: when they hover over their kids, they project their own insecurity, their fear that the kid won't cope with the world. And like clockwork, for precisely that reason, the kid doesn't.

Helicopter parenting also lingers on to late teens and early twenties. Also see: why a solid swathe of college graduates wind up moving back home and waiting for the perfect job to come along rather than take some risks and start their own businesses.

If you think most men can raise children against all negative influences and have a successful career then I'm afraid you're just ignoring painful reality. If you are at work then you are not watching over the kids. Realistically you need to have a wife who does this, but we all know that 80% of women are herd animals who blindly obey the signals they receive. So if you're in a toxic social environment (which constitutes most of the West) then the chance of rearing good children is very low.

I do want to highlight that you assume things that may or may not be true.

In Samseau's case, I think your assumption is wrong. He has spent a lot of his time helping Trump get elected. He isn't just sitting on a forum complaining. He is doing what he believes to be right for all of society.

His point was hiding in the bush to raise your kids won't help cure what ails our society nor will it be enough to stop negative influences. He is right.

Either you believe women are like water or not. If they are, no matter how much parenting you do will have minimal effect if our society is poisonous and they decide to move to the big city. I imagine you're bringing Christianity in this discussion, despite me not mentioning it, because you hold Christianity responsible for the rise of the West and its greatness. I might actually agree with you here. But just like I'm not beating you over the head with the textbook definition of extinct, you don't need to beat me over the head with repeated doses of the same argument as if I were a petulant 14 year old girl with a hearing problem.

They're all dead. Family lines gone. Extinct. One could argue that part of the reason why Europe is in it's current predicament is because of the dysgenic effect of the World Wars on the male populations, killing off generations of masculine, moral, good men twice over.

They aren't dead, the people they preached to have carried on their name and legacy for them. How are they dead if people are still learning their ideas 2000 years later?

As for the World Wars being dysgenic - perhaps, but also not. The post-WW2 baby boom was the largest single increase of White babies in all of recorded history. It didn't impact the White population at all, even if a lot of White males got murdered.

And yet, despite the massive increase in population, because the baby boomers weren't raised right none of it mattered. They did not grow into Christians and ended up destroying their host societies. 50 years later with mass immigration, record debts, negative birth rates, and a spiritually dead culture, we are reaping the results of "the greatest generation."

Lots of babies with no morals will always have the same result as the fucked up baby boomers. That's why having babies isn't the most important thing. The environment is much more important.

Nothing lasts without a proper foundation. The simple fact of history proves it: all we have is around 2500 years of recorded history because the other 1 million+ years never survived all the wars and destruction. The only history we have comes from our Christian ancestors. What has made everything we have possible is Christ, and nothing but Christ, and without that foundation having children means nothing.

The true test is the test of time. Boots on the ground mean nothing to father time (God).

Our civilization would have never reached the heights it has if it weren't for men who understood that children are secondary to truth and righteousness. No need to be offended, it's called a counter-example. You asked if it would be extinction, and I provided many counter-examples with rhetorical flourish to answer your objection.
