I can't help feel that this is an Indian Race Troll Zombie. Indian Culture sucks. Unless the person was raised in the United States, the gap and differences in culture in the United States can cause a lot of attrition. It isn't as if there isn't weakness in other immigrant groups or american culture. But Indian culture is the worst.

Its a real shame too because Indian Americans do really well to adapting to american culture.

Simple,,,family unit is strong and they value education. This formula works outside of India very well. For example, in some countries parents kick their kids out at 18 while Indian parents keep them till they marry. Even then the Indian adult and wife or vice versa stay with the extended family in one house. They save their money, don't pay rent and have free babysitting. Simple formula. Not too many non Indians want to do that.
Now I am generalizing, but from my observations they are just keeping it simple by living as an extended family in one house pooling and saving the money. Not all of course, but it's not rocket science.

Indian family unit is strong, they are prudent about saving and minimizing exrounous giving costs while you are young. It may not be the best system to let you explore and have fun while young but it is a proven system to set you up for stability into adulthood and beyond.

What is this garbage race thread.

Simple answer - selection mechanism - the average Indian has no shot at immigrating to America unless through family.

Even the H1Bs are actually probably top 10% in education level in India even if in the West they don't often rise above entry level work.

Don't need to beat a dead horse - with 1.3 billion people obviously the ones that are able to jump through the hoops to immigrate to the U.S. are going to be much smarter than the average Indian.

Right - the Indians in America are pretty far from a representative sample. Biased towards upper castes and almost no untouchables. Average IQ in India is pretty low. It's depressed a bit by nutrition, but most estimates I've seen guess it would max out at 90-92. Given their population growth is driven largley by Muslims and lower castes I don't see the end of people shitting in the street anytime soon.

India used to have the caste system.

To get rid of it, approximately 95% of Indians are eligible for affirmative action quotas. Even Indians in top castes have their own quotas (because they have poor people like any other caste).

Reserving spots for racial groups on such a large scale means that some of the brightest people in the affected groups can't find work. These, the most brightest most enterprising Indians are the ones who emigrated.

To add to that, had India been on the same geographical place as Mexico, instead of a calculated 10-20 million mexicans living in the US you'd be looking at somewhere close to 50-100 million indians at the very minimum.
