Yeah, it's very true, but ONS mostly happen during the night scene / nightlife when there's alcohol involved. You have to be 18+ to enter clubs, so it makes me wonder where else these people have collected so many partners in such a short time. It's either the boarding schools or during high school parties where people drink a lot. 1- every girl is an N of 1. She could have 2 or 200 partners. And as we've all experienced, sometimes you think one is the other and end up being surprised.

Unless something truly tectonic has shifted, the numbers being thrown about the thread are with overestimations. The NHSR036 from the CDC is probably the best data and methodoligy out there, albeit the numbers are basically a decade old at this point.

It varies so greatly, like one poster said average is not appropriate. To me its unpredictable. One super hot but introverted girl who I was interested in dating had one notch... was VERY interested in sex, but only in relationships. But she was partly full of BS.

This. I think most of the posters here are off by an order of magnitude; they surround themselves with girls who enjoy being repeatedly used as a human fuck doll and come to believe that's the norm.

This survey claims that the average number of lifetime partners for an American adult is 7.2. At least half of those probably come after college, so let's say the average girl finishes college with 3-4 notches. But the OP asks the average notch count of girls still in college, so we can reduce it down to 2-3. But I don't think average is particularly meaningful. The distribution here is obviously skewed (i.e. much larger deviation on the high side than on the low side). If the average college-aged girl has a count of 2-3, the median, a better reflection of the typical girl, probably has a count of 1-2.

To summarize: The typical college-aged American girl has a notch count of 1-2.

Since this thread got a bump, I will jump in and second/third/fourth this statement. I can assure you that there is a subpopulation in almost any stastical population that has very high numbers of sexual partners. However, there is also a subpopulation that has a very low (or no) sexual partners. The size of those populations, both generally and in relation to one another will vary by location (and many, many other factors).

Guys that study and practice game are going to be exposed to girls that trend towards that first group. Part of game (go for the yes, IOIs, etc.) is dedicated to pursuing women who are making themselves obviously sexually available. That is basic.

I think a lot of men fail to realize that there are, in fact, groups of very sexually conservative/sexually selective women. On the whole College thing US vs rest of the places I've been.

This is actually a really key point to this whole thing. Big cities. The largest cities in the US have residents that report sexual partner counts that far outpace residents of even slightly smaller cities (and certainly people who live in rural environments). That is where the NYC slut meme comes from. It happens to be true. However, if you take the 10 most populous cities in the US, which are all of the cities with a population over one million, and you add the populations together, it still accounts for barely 8% of the total US population.

You often read on the forum about hitting up second and third tier cities in, specifically, Eastern Europe because the girls there are "more wholesome". This phenomenon occurs in North America, as well. And it needn't be a tiny hamlet in the middle of nowhere. I went to probably one of the biggest party schools in the USA.

The average women who did go out and party and had fun realistically has maybe around 30-40 notches.

But that's at a party school.
