RE: Post your biggest life/game lessons here
1) The most important attribute to success, in any realm, is courage. Not intelligence, not work ethic, not how polite you are, but courage.

When people ask what's the secret to success, you'll hear words like perserverance, resilience, etc., but these are all just forms of courage, in fact they are the greatest demonstration of courage as trying something new takes guts, but trying something again after previous failure takes real courage.

The current PC/SJW climate today is the result of a lack of courage. There's plenty of everyday people who know what's going on, but they lack the courage to call out the BS.

2) A lot of the virtues extolled in religious texts have some pragmatic benefit to them. Specifically, they have a benefit to you even from a selfish standpoint, not just in making you a better follower of said religion. Example, abstaining from or cutting back the drinking has you benefits to your quality of life.

3) At a job, if within 6 months-1 year you don't recognize that you're developing marketable skill, get out.

4) There's more reward in overcoming challenges, confronting fears, and building the life you want than succumbing to vices (including chasing tail).

5) Most of peoples' unhappiness in life is the result of not being true to themselves. They get married even though they didn't want to, they take the safe route career-wise, etc. Again, like #1, this is a courage issue. It takes a lot of courage to go against the societal grain in general, and the desires of your parents specifically.

6) Prehab/rehab/therapeutic techniques/mobility work are a grossly overlooked aspect of health, longevity, and athletic performance.

Civilize the mind but make savage the body.
