It reminds me of playing CS 1.6 with aimbot/wallhack. If you do it long enough, you learn which walls on which maps to shoot through and when. You learn the angles and where to keep your crosshair aimed so as to look legit if your replay is reviewed by an admin. This is why a lot of known cheaters went on to become legitimate talents after hacking for a while.

It teaches you the other side of the game, another side that many players spend years learning. That's the real hack, the shortcut to learning how to conquer the other side.
