Yeah, I see the westernisation of uncouth Moslems as a good thing. I think that even some half Armenian half Iranian people (wink wink) can be good for the West if they culturally westernise, despite their racial features. I love Paris. It's an amazing city when you've got a crew to get going and you know where to eat and where to go out. It's impossible to get bored.

Endless supply of girls to game. However it's true that there's a lot of shady characters but they are mostly concentrated in the suburbs.

Europe safer than the US? are you kidding me? OP clearly would visit Paris as a tourist, let me say this the US is much much much safer than Europe (or atleast major cities I've visited it myself) FOR TOURISTS.

in Europe, tourists are constantly mugged and harassed by north africans and AFRICAN arabs, and they get ZERO help from locals or cops. I live in one of the southern states, never ever heard of tourists (tho there are not many of em here) get harassed or mugged, and even in the rare occasion it might happen, guess what? locals won't stand still and will beat up that criminal, if not, cops will help you!

I visited Paris in the 90s as a kid and I thought it was one of the best cities in Europe. Last summer I was in Paris for a few days and oh boy, how much the city has changed.

What I noticed:

- Dirt, filth and buildings that are not maintained
- Fucking gypsies who block your way on the road and are just annoying as fuck
- A SHITLOAD of Sub-Saharan Africans, North Africans and Muslims

The general atmosphere was not very pleasant. There are parts of Paris where you will hardly find any native French people. You will see mostly Africans and Muslims walking in traditional clothes or hanging on the street doing nothing. Oh and Africans who just sleep on a busy street, probably "refugees".

This video gives a good impression, although there are parts of Paris that are much worse

Since the question is if Paris is worth a visit , implying the OP has never been there , then yes of course everyone should see Paris once.

It's not because the west is declining or going down the drain depending on whom you ask that one should not see the great cities of this world : London , NYC, Paris,
Rome , Moscow and I will even throw in Berlin and Amsterdam in here.

Paris has amazing food, beautiful architecture and hot women.

Le 11ème is nice near Bastille. Can get ratchet on one certain street. You are also pretty close to Wanderlust/ Nuba which are top.

Quartier Latin, more student bars

Pigalle area, lot of irish/brits as itx near Montmartre but fun nights sometimes..depends where you go

Champs Èlysées is only nice for Rasputin club..

Denfert Rochereau only for the Cafe Oz there..its worth it.

St-Germain for high end tourists and french people but less of a club areas...more parisians chatty mood.

FWIW I just came back from 3-4 days in Paris just doing some sightseeing.. walking in the malls and whatnot.. no gaming since I am on a game break at the moment and I did not see even one brother with a dime piece on his arm.

Its Paris so theres gotta be quality lurking around but I really didn't see THAT many hot girls around. I also went to a couple of local french restaurants and while i saw many WB girls I did not see many stunners. This also reflects what I saw in Lille, France.

IMO While French girls may be thin German girls are better looking.

It is totally still worth visiting.

Don't let the absolutely invaluable reporting by the forum members (of the bad stuff) become your entire reality.

Get out and see it yourself. Is it less safe and clean than 10 years ago, sure. It's still awesome.

Probably safer to visit now than in May '68.

I was there in August 2016 and January 2017. I stayed in the Marais the first time on Rue de Rivoli, and in the Latin Quarter the second. I walked everywhere, and did the usual tourist locations. Saw many beautiful girls, some extraordinary. Talked with a number of people, but no luck gaming women. I didn't find it that expensive.

I loved it. I studied French in high school, and know something of French history, art history and the like. This city is thick with culture. I went to a number of bars in the evening with live music, both American style rock, and more typical French jazz or cabaret style music. I told myself I would move to Paris and become a musician and an artist.

Both times I drove to the city and parked while I was there. It's a difficult city to drive in. When I was driving through the neighborhoods coming into and out of the city, they were packed with filthy people. You could see the original French architecture, but the buildings looked run down, and the crowds of filthy people along every sidewalk and spilling out to block traffic made these places look like no go zones to me.

I would say to stick to the most well know touristy areas, and it should be mostly alright. I walked around until late at night with no problems in those areas.

I would say that I think it will only get worse, and unless the French decide to take the city back, it will be ruined in not too many more years. The French seem determined on their course of cultural suicide. They think they will make all of these immigrants French, but instead, the immigrants are making France third world.

My advice is to go while it still holds some remnant of what it once was. I loved it, and I will go again. However, the rot everybody speaks of will be very obvious once you see it first hand.

If you go to Paris and try to save money, you'll see everything that people here are complaining about. It's true that the immigrant population has grown a lot, but they are heavily concentrated in a few areas. in some other areas you almost never see them. I spent a year there after college studying French and have spent a lot of time there since, so I know the city pretty well. All of the areas people are recommending here (Bastille, Champs-Elysees, Republique,...) are the cheaper areas where you're likely to see lots of Arabs and Africans and where gaming will be tough. But even there, if you get away from the main drags, the French girls you find are the more adventurous types and easier to game.

The alternative is to stay in a more upscale area (you'll save taxi/uber money anyway when you go out). Areas like Chatelet, Montmartre, Champs-Elysees, Bastille can be OK if you know where to go or get lucky, but if you don't want to see Arabs and Africans, avoid these places. Those are just a tiny part of Paris, so you could be much better off just picking a random neighborhood and hitting cafes, talking to solo girls and getting them to take you somewhere or to tell you where to go. Also hit the big parks in the daytime. From the well known tourist destinations, only the Left Bank (including Saint Germain) and the Marais are really go-to places. Places that, have hotter girls, a lot less tourists and in some cases people have lots more money are the 5,6,7,8,14,15,16 districts. When there are well-known tourist places in those areas, they aren't where you want to be, but as soon as you get one Metro stop away, things change. Lots of non-French girls who don't feel safe are trying to live in these areas too. My strategy in Paris is always just find a street with lots of cafes, cruise by them til you see some solo girls (ideally one alone who is already eating, drinking - so she's not waiting for a guy) and start talking. Learned it from a Canadian guy who was doing it one of the first times i was there visiting.

To be honest these are among the most boring arrondissements in Paris, except maybe rue d’Alesia in the 14eme Arrdt which is a famous shopping street. 14 is an arrdt where well off white families like to live, same for 15 but you find a bit more single white collars in 15. 16 is where really rich people live, you also find them in neighborhoods in the west outside Paris like Auteuil and Neuilly.

One paradox is that you also find broke students living in 16eme, they rent rooms which in the last century were occupied by maids serving rich families, now they converted them into rooms or small studios.

Also champs Elysées is not cheap, you may see ghetto guys walking there because avenue des champs Elysées is famous and these guys also want to enjoy Paris and feel they are parisian by walking there. Just walk in the streets around and you won’t see them anymore. I never hang out there, not my crowd.

French women are WAY more open to seduction than anglo saxon chicks, you won’t be considered as a pervert if you stare at her for few seconds then go engage a conversation, as long as you have your shit together.

Yes in Paris you can pick up everywhere and that’s the beauty of this city, if you re read my post you’ll see that I said the hoods you mentioned are boring and that other places mentioned before are better to pick up, I didn’t say you can’t pick up there.

And yes parisian guys don’t often dress up, why? Simply because we don’t need to be suited up or to blow cash to pick up chicks. I just came back from 2 years in London where chicks are gold diggers and men do their best to show external signs of material success.
You don’t need this in Paris. Doesnt mean guys are dressed like hoboes, they have a certain sense of fashion, just not the stuck up blazer/button up shirt.
In Paris women care more about your charisma, openness and coolness, as opposed to London where the girl will first ask you what you do in life.

Social class isn’t as important in Paris as in London, people who go out think about having fun, if there is a cool bar in Republique or Bastille then people will go there. Seeing some immigrants in Champs Elysées or in Bastille doesnt mean these hoods are for working class or immigrants.
