I see positives in both approaches, but in your experience what works best? Youre potentially going back to a country and you have leads, do you tell her early on that youre going back and on a specific date - this will keep her motivated to talk to you. Or do you not tell her, and keep a scarcity mindset, she is scared of losing you.

I'll bite. If you're traveling to a new country don't tell her anything. I like to make it seem whimsical and cool. I Just decided to bust out a trip to Shibuya last week. Deal with it.

Take photos of you at cool spots and send em to her, but don't talk a lot. Just send photos and build up her interesting.

Then invite for drinks when you're back. Also bring her back a cheap trinket or sorts. Bitches like trinkets.
