So I'm about to jaunt off to Amsterdam for a work assignment that will last until at least the rest of the year. Part of the reason I stumbled on here (FT poster) was to maximize my trip; kind of a one-time opportunity as I'm in my mid-twenties and will have a fair bit of cash to splurge while I'm there. I did an exchange program in Italy but didn't have the patience/poise to date Italian girls so I settled for the American riff-raff.

I'm not expecting Dutch girls to be overly-different from US ones but am somewhat optimistic[/size][/font]. Does anyone have practical advice/experience about the dating scene in Amsterdam? Is it bad enough that I should just plan on traveling as much as possible to EE/other locations?
