Do you think it's more difficult to pursue attractive women in The West online or in real life?

On advice from a few people on PM here and a few friends I created a profile on POF. I've tested photos on TopFace, a popular Russia Tinder clone, which gives you a percent rating of how many people liked the photo and used ones with a >= 90% like.

On TopFace I am getting a lot of good likes from young girls in South America, SE Asia and a few in Africa; and it's easy to get talking to them in depth.

I've been on POF for little over half a day and had 50+ view, average rating is about 6.2 with a lot of fatties; 5 messages, avg 5.5, all overweight and two single mums. Sent out three messages to hotties: one ignore, one disappeared and the other I'll see. Used this site once before and found contact with hot women is difficult and they tend to disappear a lot and the quality of incoming messages is awful.

There's a massive shortage of attractive women in the United States relative to the demand for them. The same applies to the UK and any other country where a significant number of women have stopped trying to be healthy and avoid junk food or excessive calories. The highest quality women don't tend to be online, they tend to be found in social circles offline.

The advantage of in-person approaches is that you set yourself apart. Each girl you talk to on the street is more likely to suck your dick than each girl you message online.

However, you may have to invest more with each girl in-person before you get a date. Whereas online, you can invest time that you aren't doing anything important. Five minutes here, five minutes there.

The key here is that to be successful online, messaging 3 hotties isn't going to cut it. You need to message 50.

Online is purely a numbers game, more so than in-person.

There is no such thing as "Right place, right time" with online dating.
I've lost count of the amount of times simply being in the right place has gotten me the bang. Or at least has put me in connection with people that i would've never met if i was restricting myself to online only.

Yes, seems to be the case. I am a hyper-conservative in pretty much everything I do. My instinct is to put all my eggs in one basket, rather than letting myself blow in the wind. Need to force my hand then.

POF seems to be particularly infested with lipids. While quality on Tinder seems much higher. I think that is because attractive women are forced to engage more on Tinder, while on POF women are free to attempt to slob up the gene hierarchy. Tinder is more of a dead end for the obese.

But overall I think I am out of The West market. Don't have enough time to chase myself down the gene pool. I've always found that just being about as good looking as a girl here is not enough, you need something extra, particularly social status or baseless social confidence. But in EE you are something extra just for getting off the plane. As I have read on other's posts, you can feel the appreciation in these parts. Whereas here you'll only feel appreciated by fatties you want to recoil from. Speaking to those from those South East Asia is even more of an eye-opener. Although the idea of creating a troop of 5'5" pinoys is not that appealing, being wrapped in the soft appreciation of their delicate femininity is why there seems to be so many with Thai flags here.

What constitutes "in depth"? I am exposing one sock-puppet fake profile after another. Women who list their eye color as blue but the pics are brown or she says she's in Alaska in her profile and she starts talking about how she grew up in Ghana and is now in South Africa. There are real women there but they aren't as hot or as responsive as the sock-puppets.

Long, fluid conversations outside of the app. Have spoke to two on video. TopFace seems fairly clean of fake profiles and as you allude to they tend to have tell tale markers.
