What's now keeping Trump's administration from blowing the Seth Rich issue up to destroy the Russia narrative? It would easily make Comey's words instantly worthless, and rip the heart out of Democrats in the same stroke. Were they waiting for Comey to trap himself before recognizing Seth Rich? If not, now is a good time to consider it before the circus gets too big.

Surely Trump and the White House can fight Comey without using Seth and the truth about the Russian involvement by mincing words and using weasel words, but that makes for a more messy protracted fight in the long run.

Seems like to me that the WH ignoring the 800 pound Seth Rich gorilla is an attempt to cover or save face for the entire US intelligence community for getting played or for their lies under Obama appointed folks. They can probably escape all this and cover up their morale at the same time, but that just makes it more like "Swamp Style" and not what Trump is all about.

If the House Intelligence Committee (or any investigative body) uses the Comey hearings to pursue Obstruction of Justice charges against Loretta Lynch, these hearings will be enormously successful.

If not, they were just another excuse for Congress to obstruct President Trump's agenda. This is sad, but I think Congress would've used any excuse to obstruct Trump's agenda, so I'm not going to say, "If only we didn't have this Russia investigation, we'd be making America great again."

I think they had six children. One died in infancy but I don't know if that was one of the six. Any woman who has more than five children I'll usually give them a break if they physically age a little faster than average.

Could all be kabuki theatre but we shall find out soon enough. If they were at least halfway intelligent they would at least make a good show of it to impress Trump to avoid Bannon's wrath. If I were Trump I would not be impressed unless they submit a formal request of charges for perjury or obstruction to Sessions against Comey.

I would only be slightly impressed if they formally request Sessions to appoint a Special Investigator to investigate the FBI Team, Lynch, and Comey on the Email Scandal for evidence of foul play.

Comey convocation address derailed by angry protesters at Howard University

Noisy protesters shouted and chanted over James Comey on Friday as he attempted to deliver a convocation address at Howard University, forcing him to delay his remarks and then practically drowning out the rest of his speech.

The protest started as soon as the former FBI director took the podium at the historically black college in Washington, D.C.

Protesters raised their right fists in the air and chanted, “We shall not be moved.” They also said, “F--- James Comey” and “No justice, no peace.”

Comey was unable to speak at first due to the disruption. After several minutes, Comey tried to begin.

“I hope you’ll stay and listen to what I have to say. ... I listened to you for five minutes,” he said.

After several more minutes of protests, Comey launched into his prepared speech – which, ironically, was about how the rest of the world is often “too noisy” to take time to reflect, whereas Howard University represents an “island.”

Comey said he appreciated the protesters “enthusiasm” but wishes they could understand “what a conversation is.”

“At the end of a conversation, we’re both smarter. I am here at Howard to try to get smarter, to try to be useful,” Comey said.

Push is on to disbar James Comey after Clinton scandal

“Insofar as Mr. Comey gave materially false testimony to Congress, it appears that he violated Rules 1.0(w), 3.3(a)(1), and 8.4 of the New York Rules of Professional Conduct,” Mr. Clevenger wrote.

He also asked to renew grievances in New York against former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, saying Mr. Comey’s claim that she tried to pressure him to downplay the Clinton probe should subject her to scrutiny.

The state grievance committee had deferred an investigation in January, saying there were ongoing probes by Congress and they would await the outcome.

Mr. Clevenger said this week that those probes appear to be over, so the time is ripe to renew the investigation.

He also pointedly warned the commission not to play political favorites, reminding them they disbarred former President Richard Nixon for his behavior while in office.

Mr. Clevenger is also challenging the bar membership of Mrs. Clinton’s lawyers, and has won a court order in Maryland demanding the grievance committee there conduct an investigation into David E. Kendall, Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson over allegations they destroyed evidence in the email probe.
