IANAL, but I don't think there is a way to legally record audio in CA w/o warrant unless you have consent of all parties.
Recording video in public locations, however, seems to be ok. In private locations, not so.
Quote:Just video, audio and video in separate spots, audio/video together? Do you just need a sticker on your front door saying you have a security camera system?
Even with a sticker there is such thing as "expectation of privacy". For example, a clothing store can record video in the store, but not in the bathroom or fitting rooms.
The main question, however, is why would you record the video. Are you just making your own private porn collection, and do not intend to share it with anybody? Or you want to post it to youporn, or maybe even sell to some other site?

RE: Filming Sex With Women
For security purposes. I want to avoid shit like fake rape and so on. I do not want me or anybody I've been with to show up on some fucking website. And for general security purposes, like robberies. A bedroom is a bit general purpose. And owners putting security/nanny cams in their house/business is a bit different then a random person putting a cam in someone else's property. I care about legality because if it's illegal to record such things, couldn't it possibly be inadmissible?
