Laid Off and Ladies
Hey all,

I was recently laid-off from work, along with about 30 coworkers, and it has definitely affected my game. Roosh is living proof that one needn't have a job to get the ladies, but what do you tell them when they ask you what you do? I've actually got a date tonight with a girl I met pre-layoff. I don't want to lie to her, but I don't like saying that I'm unemployed. Do I just man up and tell her that I'm between job or something else?

Don't give a straight answer. Make up some ridiculous job and say that's what you do.

If she presses you a little while longer, say you used to do X, but you left that place to pursue your passion and you're giving that a go. So long as you sound ambitious, and so long as it's well delivered; it shouldn't really matter too much.

Say you got laid off. If you value any ongoing intimacy you have to be honest. DOn't hedge.

If you want to have fun with her for one night - tell her BS in a way that she knows is BS. You are just being fun and flirty.

Change the subject back on her and don't get into negative conversations about how bad it is.

But be the guy you want to be - have plans, have plans to do stuff, do some volunteer work. etc.

At minimum demonstrate some sort of higher value. If she asks do just like everyone else says. Tell her you just left your job (which is true) and you're focusing on pursuing your passion. Whatever the hell that could be. Or just say you're retired, or a tree farmer. That line of thinking usually works too.

Shocked RE: Laid Off and Ladies
Just be frank with her rather risking her trust in you for the long run. Girls seriously appreciate that more. How to say it? SamMidhust, twigman, trotter have all given you a very good start.

Keep us posted! Smile

Do you have a hobby like photography or writing? Well guess what... you're now a starving artist and trying to make money from that.

Or you're a freelancer
