As my last post in the Trump thread suggested, 1,400 needs to be something more like 1,400,000 or 14,000,000.

We should have volunteer ICE programs, just like we have volunteer fire-fighter programs.

I'd volunteer.

In a half-sane country, this would be like a corporate-sponsored--or at least corporate-condoned--activity.

^^ I don't feel sorry for them. They came from a Central American shithole and get to live in the US with free lunch and nice schools. All they have to do is keep clean and no one will fuck with them. But they steal and rob and pillage.

I travel a lot. I don't break anyone's laws when I'm a guest. I won't even throw a cigarette butt on the ground. I would never consider coming to someone's country and stealing or gangbanging or disrespecting them in any way.

Fuck em. Get em out. And if they're US citizens, lock their asses up too.

Not-stealing-robbing-and-pillaging is too low of an expectation.

Any legal immigrant should be of positive value-add (much less an illegal one...), probabilistically/actuarially-speaking in taxes and to the future of the country. This would be a ballpark of something like at least 70th to 85th percentile in IQ, since the US spends more than it collects in taxes.

However, even without explicitly stealing-robbing-and-pillaging, low-skilled migrants (whether legal or illegal) are negative value-add.

They're, on average... not hitting the 70th percentile on IQ... to be polite.

They and their offspring consume more public benefits than they pay in taxes.

Their offspring make public schools (paid for by legal, native citizens) more dangerous and lower in social quality (and academic quality, albeit that's least important), leading to native US citizens having to find private schools.

Their offspring grow up to demand more affirmative action in schools and workplaces.

Their offspring can guarantee one day (perhaps in a matter of a few years, unless we stop it) that we never have anything but a Democrat one-party-state, as they vote increasingly for the coalition-of-fringes' gimmedats/damelos and the racial spoils system.

Migrating to the first world where the marks are soft and the law is even softer is absolutely the smartest choice these scumbags can make.

The smartest choice we in the first world can make is to take second time offenders and put them on a one-way plane or boat to the nation of their choice.

Their time can be served in the nation of their birth, and if that nation doesn't like that idea then they can have their remittances taxed into oblivion.

The article is very misleading. This was a crack down on gangs, human smuggling, trafficking, etc. They arrested several bloods and crips, which are black gangsters. Of course those guys are legal citizens.

ICE is not just for immigration matters. The C stands for customs enforcement. Customs officers can and will get involved with gang activities usually in conjunction with DEA or the ATF, but they don't have to.

The immigration status of who they picked up matters very little, considering why they were arrested, but of course they want Trump to look like a tyrant any chance they can.

All those numbers sound good, but let us not forget that still many pour in over the borders illegally or prolong their stay illegally.

Only a strong secured wall will bring major changes.

They can certainly come back if they wish. And then go to federal prison. Reentry after deportation is a felony.

^^This means that the CBP and ICE are responsible for more federal prosecutions than the DEA, FBI, ATF, IRS, Postal Inspectors, and every other agency combined.

I've had the opportunity to interview illegals that have served time in federal prison for reentering the US after being deported. I'd always ask, "So, are you coming back again?" The only answer I ever got was, "No way, man. It ain't worth it."

Especially now that Sessions has ordered his US Attorneys to crack down on immigration cases. You'd be out of your fucking mind to come back. When they're being kicked out, the agents give the aliens a piece of paper with a warning informing them that reentry after deportation carries a sentence of 2 to 20 years in prison. If they ignore it, then I don't think anyone except their momma feels sympathy for them.

The number the media likes to quote is "11 million illegal aliens" in the US. This is bogus. They've been quoting 11 million since the early 90's. It's at least 30 million.

The problem lies with the fact that CBP and ICE only have 36,000 jail beds to put deportees in. And many of those cases are long, drawn out cases where they're claiming asylum or their country refuses to take them back. So they sit and take up jail space.

Another huge problem is there's not enough immigration judges. Trump's DHS is working on this and have said they were going to hire more immigration judges to speed this up. Many illegals don't have the right to an immigration hearing at all. But the ones that have been prior green card holders or have asylum claims tend to bog down the system.

So, instead of a wall, I think we'd be a lot better off with more jail beds. The lack of jail space is such a massive hindrance to immigration enforcement. That's why ICE lets so many go. They call the detention supervisor and he says, "I don't have any space, man. We can't hold any more. They're already sleeping in the floor and that's illegal. I can't deal with anyone else." So, unless the guy is a convicted criminal, he walks.

That was my take on this article, too. It seems to say, "Look how most of these criminals are NOT illegal! See, Americans are bigger criminals than illegal aliens!"

And my take on it is that we have to deal with our own trash on the streets, so why import more? And it's got to make the libs confused since now they can't rightfully claim that Trump is just picking on illegals. Nope, Homeland Security went after street criminals regardless of nationality.
