People being lenient on the perp haven't really followed the sequence of events:
-the guy grabs the old lady like a wrestler and lifts her up, barefoot on a wet concrete floor.
-he then slips and drops her on her side smack on the concrete floor.
So what does he do at this point, does he realize that he put her life in danger, or that she could actually be hurt from the impact he just inflicted on that lady? Does he stop and check if she's hurt?
No.
He tries to pick her up again while she is trying to fight him off, and he walks while lifting her precariously towards the pool. There is no question at this point that she could fall again on her back, or hit the back of her head on the concrete floor. Yet he proceeds to carry her precariously and then throws her into the water like a sac of potatoes.
Not only the perp has totally humiliated and assaulted the dignity of this old woman, but he has knowingly put her life in danger, twice, the second time after having inflicted physical harm on her by dropping her on the concrete floor.
This scumbag should do the time.
Edit: turns out the woman is a 68yo stroke patient who had a recent broken hip, and she only went there to ask the kids to turn the music down and to tell then that some of her neighbors have already called the cops
Balanced reporting here, they didn't paint the whole black community as thugish

This old woman grew up and lived 99% of her life in the privilege of both equal rights and chivalry. Her entire life it was "if a group of men do something I do not approve of, I can tell them to stop it, and they will do as I say". She truly is so entitled, though her life of unmatched privilege, that she thinks she can just strut into this party of young drunk kids and demand they turn their music down.... OR ELSE!
Unfortunately for her, women like her looked down on good men, treated good men like shit, and now good men are hard to find. The worst of men are reproducing at higher levels. Single motherhood is out of control and young men are taught that women are worthless to them. And now the chickens have come home to roost. The years of treating good men like shit produced this culture and she gets body slammed by the culture and tossed into a pool, the results of her life "work".
I don't blame her. She should have never been put in a position to treat good men like shit for 70+ years. She should have been kept in her feminine bubble and realized men protect and provide and lead and she follows.
I expect a lot more of this as women continue to overstate their power and importance as society falls.
I want to come and admit I was wrong. I am so used to seeing women get too big for their britches and get lucky to escape situation a woman shouldn't be in by luck and many times others get hurt as a consequence.
I was very wrong in this case. It sounds like this sweet old lady was just coming to warn the kids that someone had called the police and they should turn down the music and hide anything illegal. She was being an angel and trying to be a good person. God bless her.

She was on the property board so it was her duty, once she received a complaint, to go ask the kids to turn the music down. She wasn't even the one who called the police and she tried to warn them that the police were on the way. The kids had had parties there before, and she says that as long as they kept the volume down and didn't cause any trouble, it was fine for them to be there.
Her neighbors had to search around the neighborhood to find her dogs. It's fortunate their leashes didn't get hung up on something and gotten them injured. Also, did you see those bruises she had in the first video? She's more seriously injured than I thought.
I don't think I'd try to lay any of the blame on her.

How bitter towards women do you have to be to actually say this? Jesus Christ, you might want to check out the Jordan Peterson thread and sort yourself out.
An outlier case or two doesn't make scrambled's "WNB" comment any more relevant or appropriate. I don't disagree that she made an error, but there's no possible benefit or relevance to bring up "WNB" on an elderly lady when that's not at all the context of the thread or either parties actions.
scrambled is just being an internet tough guy, which is not in line with this forum just like being a white knight isn't.
