Trip to Frankfurt, where else to go
I'm traveling to Frankfurt for about 10 days in June. I would like to visit a nearby city for a couple days in transit. Like Munich, Warsaw, Prague, Amsterdam, something along those lines. Something with some history and chicas to scope out for perspective. Any recommendations?

Stuttgart is cool if you're into cars. I drove there from Frankfurt last year, about 2.5 hr drive, and checked out the Porsche and Mercedes museums, both are quite amazing. It's also a college town and there was one street where a lot of college girls were hanging out. If you're young enough, it might be worthwhile. I found Frankfurt to be abhorrent in terms of stuff to do.

You 'd also be about 2,5 hours from Kassel and Göttingen northwards. Both have a strong universitarian lizard population

Heidelberg. Must be even better without the 10000 GIs cockblocking.

Also check out http://www.veranstaltungen-in-deutschland.de/ for "feste" go to a smaller town for a wein or bier fest or a "messe," a fair.

Thanks for the leads, I will def scope out those towns. I decided to fly into Munich and out of Hamburg. Will work my way up by train passing through Frankfurt. I will be spending a day in Darmstadt and Kaiserslautern visiting friends as well.

How do German towns compare to the cities? It sounds like in Germany the smaller towns are pretty good. I might try to minimize my time in Frankfurt as it doesn't sound that interesting.

You'll be passing through Baden proper once you're around Darmstadt. There's plenty of pretty quaint towns around. Heidelberg being the most famous probably. As for cities Karlsruhe is as rich but nowhere near as high brow as Heidelberg, fun town with a big selection of ladies from all walks of life and a very affordable and rather impressive Natural History Museum (I should know,I used to sleep there hahaha)

Not sure about the other cities as ive never gamed in any other German cities besides Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Cologne.

Depending on your game/nationality (if you are white) you could do well in Cologne plus I could show you around so you won't have to look for girls at all as I know every venue in the city.

Cologne is 1 hour away from Frankfurt with the ICE train. 1.5 hour otherwise.
