Ive fell a few times and was lukewarm, but I keep coming back to Christ. The struggles of being poor and in difficult situations strengthened my trust in god. And he showed me I can only have joy and life through him.
Im on my own, just me and god, and he will judge me for my actions and my heart. So I'm staying pure before god and living my life for him.
It's difficult to not pursue sex, or comfort. Too not give up and be lukewarm.
I cant, ive had the joy, and peace of the lords fruit. My life will be to leave everything and live my life for god. This is not my home.

Thanks for the encouragement. I still fail at times, but I do feel more strong, and less worried about trivial problems. And there's moments where I feel more innocent and pure, enjoying sunlight, falling in love, haha. God is good.

As a Christian myself, I'd like to give a shot at answering your question.

American Christianity is divided into two main camps: Calvinism (aka Reformed) and Arminianism (sometimes referred to as Arminian/Wesleyanism).

About two decades ago, I turned my back on that and freed myself from the concept that confuses God with life. I joined an Arminian brand church, learned that I do have free will, that life sucks like a Hoover vacuum cleaner and God helps us get through it.

What tradition have you been raised in? If Calvinist, I can understand why you're so angry with God. Look into the numerous Brethren/Mennonite/Wesleyan denominations, find a church that matches your personality (that's very important) and I think your anger will begin to diminish as you come to understand the true relationship between God and man and what He wants to do in life.

Just my own story and thoughts. Your actual mileage may vary.

She's a virgin, but well see what. we were talking about god, and having fun. I'm going to take the risk, worst case we have a shotgun wedding and I find out she's crazy. Lol. I am taking steps, seeing how she is under pressure and how she is when I'm struggling.

I only learned about Calvinism, after my friend told me he was a Calvinist. And I was raised as a Southern baptist, I'm a follower of the bible. I was lost and cofused because churches would preach what they believe not what the bible writes. So I'm just reading the word. I'm blessed to have my church. We have our struggles and im praying god gives me the wisdom.

Calvinism and Arminianism are products of the Protestant Reformation, but what I know about Catholicism, they lean toward free will. I assume the Orthodox churches do as well, but I cannot address that with any certainty.

I know quite a number of Catholics. None of them are pedophiles.
