Its an incredible eyesore to see often a grown man with his ass crack and underwear showing, walking around like he's cool or something.

"Saggin" spelled backwards is "Niggas" ....and that's exactly how you look or what people think when they see it (race of perpetrator irrelevant)

Furthermore, 90% of all communication is nonverbal. How you dress and often subconscious communication....so yes it disturbs some people who understand what the subconscious communication is by so many young men.....especial Black.

And what is that communication exactly:

1. I have no/little self esteem because my look is slovenly.
2. I am antisocial: making my private - public.

Most ghetto dudes are bitches. Most have no daddy and therefore have no idea how a real man is supposed to behave... Hence the over aggressive posturing and easily hurt feelings.

They behave exactly like women - from an emotional standpoint - because that's all they know .....momma, auntie, and grandma.

At least two Houston-area McDonald's have banned low-slung, baggy trousers. "The signs say, 'Pull your pants up or don't come in. Try to have some decency and respect for others. No one wants to see your underwear,'" the manager of one of the restaurants tells Yahoo Shine (he preferred not to use his name). He adds that the rule doesn't apply to young children.


A spokesperson for McDonald's says that she has heard of the bans and that individual franchises are free to impose their own dress-code policies. "It's our understanding [the restaurants] chose to do so of their own accord and to reflect what they feel is appropriate for their community business," she explained via an email to Yahoo Shine. "We continually strive to maintain a positive restaurant environment in which everyone feels valued and accepted."


While the trend might just be starting in North Texas, Dallas city council member Dwaine Caraway, who once served as mayor of the city, has made it his personal mission to "stop saggers" since he first ran for office in 2007. He says that in Dallas, the number of businesses, including at least 25 McDonald's, that have followed his lead "are too many too count, but not enough." Caraway has been speaking out against men wearing pants that expose their underwear and hopes to spark a national movement. "They show a tremendous disrespect for society, themselves, and especially women," he tells Yahoo Shine.

In July, when the New Jersey beach community of Wildwood banned saggy pants on its boardwalk, it faced accusations of racism. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Bizzy Bone told The Urban Daily, "Are they talking about black people? How can they do that? This is racist and ridiculous." West Coast rapper The Game promised to reimburse the fines of the first five people ticketed under the law. Caraway, who is African American, insists it's not about race. "All saggers are not bad people. I'm not trying to stereotype anyone. It's an educational process." He adds, "You change the attitude of people and you have a better, safer environment in the city."

Caraway even wants rappers like Kanye West and Jay-Z to back the anti-sag movement. "They should be the ones out front, people like their music so they won't suffer from encouraging fun, clean, respectable behavior." He adds that while Jay-Z might wear saggy pants on stage, he wears more professional attire "to the bank."
While some schools and businesses have sought to slap bans on other clothing, such as leggings, skinny jeans, and T-shirts with offensive slogans, saggy pants are the most commonly targeted piece of attire. In Texas alone, entire malls have banned people from wearing them, as has the Fort Worth, Texas, public bus system. Recently, more than a dozen Houston-area apartment complexes have instituted a fine of $100 or even eviction for renters who wear saggy pants on the properties.

Contempt charge for saggy pants in court dismissed

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — An eastern Pennsylvania judge has dismissed a contempt-of-court citation against a man who was fined $50 for wearing saggy pants in court.

The (Easton) Express-Times (http://bit.ly/1kCc0Qu ) reports that Lehigh County Common Pleas Judge William Ford on Thursday dismissed the charge against 18-year-old Adam Dennis of Macungie.

District Judge Wayne Maura had fined Dennis $50 for his attire at a May hearing. Defense attorneys appealed, saying a criminal contempt charge was inappropriate in this case.

Attorney Kimberly Makoul cited a previous Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling that failure to stand when a judge enters doesn't support a criminal contempt conviction.

Maura's office door bears a sign directing people to "pull your pants up" and showing a cartoon of three people wearing baggy pants. He declined to comment on the ruling.
