Does anyone have an understanding of the variability of a woman's horniness/promiscuity over the course of her menstrual cycle as regulated by the pill?

I am familiar with keeping track of a woman's natural cycle and understand that women tend to be most horny immediately prior to their period and when ovulating. With women on the pill I have noted the same pre-period spike in horniness, but have not been able to nail down exactly when in the (birth control pill regulated) cycle other horniness spikes tend to occur.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm interested. You would think there would be more research on behavioural changes the pill causes in women but I have only found mostly anecdotal stuff from forums like these.

For example I have an ex that started using the pill for the first time in her life that broke up with me 2 weeks into it (6 month relationship). I have read the pill effects women incredibly differently; however the type of behaviour they find attrative can change quickly. I don't think there's any hard and fast rules because hormonal changes are effected by a lot of variables.

If you find any good relevant research please share.

Basically a regular cycle (not all women are regular) has 28 days in it (on average, from 23 up till 35). Day 1-5 the girl is menstruating, in my experience she is more hornier then, but not all will have sex, because of the blood off course. During menstruation is when girls are the most emotional, so she may look for that type of comfort from you as well. Day 1-10 you are pretty safe when it comes to knocking a girl up, but not 100%. Day 10-18 you are in the danger zone, because sperm can live a while in the vagina. In a regular cycle, the days between 12 and 16 a girl will be ovulating and she will be hornier. She will look generally for alpha males, who can give her the best genetic material. After this period, she will return to normal until her menstruation begins.

So, in summary, from my experience, girls are more hornier during menstruation (day 1-5) and during ovulation (around the 14th day of the cycle). In the first case, she will look more for providers or those that offer emotional support, in the second, she will look for alphas and good genetic material. Take into account that there is a lot of variability in women on their cycles, the effect of their hormones, etc. Some girls will be complete bitches during menstruation, others will be sweethearts, so its all hard to estimate.

And also important, the hornier she is, the more chance of knocking her up during ovulation.

Some women lose their interest for sex when they're on the pill. I know some cases.
I guess it's related to the way the pill works. It basically tells the pituitary gland in brain to stop producing FSH and LH (hormones that make egg cell in ovaries to grow, change the endometrium, basically, they control the cycle). I think the key to this is in LH because it raises just before the ovulation and it's connected with production of progesterone, and more importantly for making them want sex more, testosterone. When on pill, there is no LH surge, no ovulation and no raise in testosterone.
Then again, a lot of women show no change in horniness when they start taking the pill so you never can tell. Human body is complex.
