I generally have a far more tempered reaction to situations like this than most guys here on RVF, so let me go through the options:

100% true - Sorry, but girls who put themselves in situations where a guy can be aggressive like that have to be treated as such. She's in a relationship with you. She shouldn't be putting themselves in those types of situations. If a guy sticks around after a girl directly states she wants him gone, he's a psychopath...and there aren't many real psychopaths out there. Hence, not likely.

Mufasa first response above - Most likely. It's sorta true. She's not really lying, and she probably did want him gone, but sorta didn't.

100% lie - Unlikely.

Under #1, you're dealing with a psychopath, which can be dangerous. Also, she put herself at the will of a psychopath, so that raises flags about her. Under #2, she's sort of testing you. Not on purpose, but because, as Mufasa said, there are some tingles. You need to get hand back. Under #3, obviously she's the psychopath.



I think 'what to do' depends on you. I'm not the guy who goes and threatens dudes. I don't see anything wrong with it, and if that's you, go ahead, it's just not me. What I would do is simply take the story for what it is...my girl hung out with a dude alone. Ok. Well maybe I'll pull back a little. It's natural to me. Wait a bit to respond to texts. Don't talk as much. Don't share life as much. Just a little, just over the next few days or so.

She will get the picture and respond. She may pull back as well, then explode in an argument to you. She may pursue you. It may fall apart. Whatever the case, it will be informative, and you'll learn how to pull puppet strings to avoid situations like this.

This advice and these simple tactics could have possibly saved my marriage. Or at least given me control over it. Just pulling back, not sharing, becoming a little colder to her...these things, even slight changes, blow up on chicks' radars. They hate it, and they'll do anything to get that connection back. He has other plans for her. He intends to bang her and it's just obvious. If he does that, it's because he lacks respect for you, or does not fear you. And calling him would make you sound like an insecure beta. It's up to the girl to take care of that. If she's not willing to, she's doing you a favor by letting you leave.

The weed and the asking him to leave in this story serve as props. They are there to distract you. From what? From something you were not told. Perhaps it is something "less" serious like if they had been kissing. She is basically telling you that she wants you to focus your attention on her asking him to leave, and not fact that she let him stay. Also, focus on the innocent weed and not the intimacy or kissing or emotion or whatever this prop in the story is hiding (even if the weed was real.)

That gut feeling you describe is a warning. In many cases ignoring it and moving forward can be costly.

To move forward, you now have to imagine that you have a child with this woman and are married and she did the same thing. Because if she is capable now she will be capable then. Only then the wrench in the gut will be stronger, and more frustrating as you are stuck with her.

This incident may have saved you from such a scenario.

What ended up happening after, I see its been a few months.

In four and an half years of relationship with my current girlfriend, she never put me in that kind of situation. She doesn't hang out with other guys, let alone drink and smoke weed with them. I don't hear about other men. For me, in a long term relationship that I consider serious, the situation you described OP would be a red flag, especially the fact that she didn't call/text you after she asked the guy to leave and he refused. I can't imagine how my partner would put herself in that situation. Smoking weed with some man she asked to leave her place 5 times, while she didn't respond to your text message? I'd be like ''You ask some MAN to leave 5 times your place, he doesn't comply, you don't answer my good night text message, you don't call me, and then you smoke some weed ALONE with him????????'' I couldn't imagine the mother of my children doing something like that. My relationship isn't perfect but that kind of things would turn me off big time if I'd see myself with that woman in the long run.

In any case, I personally would go see the guy face to face and confront him calmly, especially if I knew him. There's no way I'd accept someone in my social circle doing that to me. I find that to be very disrespectful. If some man would refused to leave the private property of my woman after she asked him to do so, I would flip.

Some of us have told our girlfriends the same crap.....when it comes to banging their girlfriends...(mutual friends)....we did it to close to home and have to "soften up" our girlfriend in case the "harder news" hits or when it does.

I just told a girlfriend once ...I banged your best friend.......and guess what she did... she got angry at her best friend and went after her (why she do that? cause chicks share intimate details with each other...and secretly want what the other has...the guy is certified great already...so the real traitor isn't the guy...it's the girlfriend that used information to manipulate the boyfriend....hope this makes sense)....anyways I dumped my girlfriend later on anyways so much for that.(too much drama...LMAO)

Yeah I remember the days....Honey I just sat around with Barbie and had a few drinks because she was waiting for a cab...wouldn't leave....had to take a shit......She's such a loser and I well felt sorry for her.

The other reason I'd tell a girlfriend something about sex activities..I mean unfaithful...is if someone else saw me with another chick (again softening up the nuclear explosion to come).....or I was pretty sure I may of picked up something during an encounter and was getting "itchy" down there (wink wink) which the girlfriend may have to get some soap to take care off. Sorry for the lack of update, have been travelling the last 2 months and not used the forum much. Thanks to all the replies and good advice given it was very helpful at the time, my close friends back home aren't any use with this kind of thing.

I haven't seen or spoke to the guy since this happened. I went round to talk the day after but no answer at his place, maybe for the best as I was really pissed and think it would have ended badly. I cant be certain on her asking him to leave so many times and his English is so bad it would have been hard to have a real conversation. The next day I was much calmer and thought a better option would be to move on by cutting him out completely.

I'm still with my gf and as far as I know she has also not spoke to him since, he is out of the overall social circle too for other reasons. I made it clear we were done if she wanted to have any sort of contact with him or more similar behaviour. She's gone out of her way to make up for it. I am 100% certain nothing happened otherwise there's no chance we'd be together now, I'm sure at the time she enjoyed the attention but that's all. I'm intentionally unavailable and distant sometimes and probably went to far around the time this happened.

Knew I'd get these responses and its understandable given you can only comment on a few paragraphs I write here without the big picture or seeing how she is (typical EE girl in love) and how the guy is in real life. For privacy I wouldn't post pics but if you would see her vs him or how she acts around me normally I think you'd change your opinion. Trust me he doesn't have any game whatsoever, not saying its impossible for a guy like him to fuck a girl like her but it's extremely unlikely.

My neighbor and my old roommate probably think the same shit about me but have no idea I've been balls deep in their girlfriends who both enthusiastically swallowed my dick into all their orifices. Yes, the fact that they "smoked pot" and she didn't reply to your text. She didn't reply because she was naked on all four as he pounded her, raw, from behind as the text tone sounded on her phone. It must have been difficult for her to think about responding to your text while she was getting a good porking.

The pot story and "asking to leave" was plausible denial/ cover story, just in case the other friends told you they left her alone with this " no mates" guy. Think very carefully before marrying this woman.

I don't think he's deluding himself. Sometimes there's such a thing as being too suspicious just to feel like you're on top of things. No one likes to feel like a fool. From what he's said, the guy sounds like he's not a threat, and the girl doesn't seem like the type who would cheat. I could be wrong, but there's no reason to assume so.

Having said that, I think it would be a good idea to put a secret camera in her house and try to recreate a similar scenario.
