RE: Logan movie review (spoilers)
The kids were mostly Mexican because they were birthed from surrogate Mexican women. The testing facility was in Mexico, likely a logical place because of the fact that Mexico is not a locked-down first world country like the States or Canada. Easier to hide shit there and get away with shit, and also likely easier to kidnap/traffic women for shady scientific birth experiments. To people saying the whole Mexican element has to do with some sort of anti-Trump tilt; the movie began development and story adaptation in 2013. Trump didn't even announce he was running until mid-2015. Not a diversity conspiracy guys.

The whole X-23 being a girl thing predates all this SJW nonsense for those trying to find politics in that little tidbit >_>. The character was made way back in 2004.

A word of advice to newbies. An interested girl will make the effort to reciprocate. You can't fix running bad game if you've already been failing with her.

RE: Logan movie review (spoilers)
I grew up on a steady diet of Marvel comic books, toys, video games and Saturday morning cartoons. It should come as no surprise then, I've always been a fan of Wolverine.

Today I caught a matinee showing of "Logan" and was blown away.

To me, the hallmark of a great performance is not being able to imagine anyone else playing the part, and Hugh Jackman's portrayal of the titular character is nothing short of perfection. I can neither imagine nor would I have any interest in seeing anyone else in the role.

I don't go to the theater as often as I used to, but I've seen almost every X-Men movie on the big screen: The good ("X-Men," "X2: X-Men United," "X-Men: Days of Future Past"), the bad ("X-Men: First Class," "X-Men: Apocalypse") and the ugly ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine").

Speaking of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," when I first discovered they were making a Wolverine spinoff film I was excited, but less so once I found out it was an origin story. In my view, they'd already done a stellar job of detailing enough of his backstory in "X2: X-Men United" to further develop the character, but omitted enough to preserve his enigmatic past.

In seeing that film, I thought it started off great, but it was clear too much executive meddling ruined it. Fox seemed more interested in setting up unnecessary characters for spinoff films than in doing Wolverine's story justice.

The second solo film, "The Wolverine" was a marked improvement over the first and found Logan battling his foes in Japan.

"Logan" was a completely different animal, no pun intended. It was dark. Depressing. The film was incredibly well done, with equal parts action and heartbreak. As the credits rolled, I felt a piece of my childhood had died, in the form of an old friend, a character I've known and loved since I was a kid. I left the theater feeling sad and a little empty.

I'll miss seeing Jackman's Wolverine on the big screen, but respect his decision to walk away from the franchise and always leave us wanting more.

For those of you who haven't seen it, I definitely recommend watching it, although I'll admit I don't know if I could watch it again.

^Amen. Logan was a phenomenal movie and something I plan to add to my movie collection. I haven't seen a movie that good in a while.

And most of all it was sad to see Wolverine go.

If only we can get him back just for Deadpool 2 atleast. We need a Deadpool and Wolverine moment damn it!

Deadpool was unbearable with all the snarky, constantly self-referential Ryan Reynolds "humor".

I couldn't sit through that movie.

I'm sure it's purely coincidental but anyone else found the similarities with these two? Laugh Laugh

That's what the Deadpool comics are in a nutshell so it was done correctly and it's your fault for going without realizing that.....

RE: Logan movie review (spoilers)
If it makes sense I thought it was a good movie but incredibly underwhelming.

These kids are apart of the weapon-x program to some degree and were unable to handle a bunch of glorified hunters. I felt that was a total shade on Logan not to mention his final opponent being...himself. Jesus christ it was too much cheese for me on that one.

Jackman was great but I feel from a plot, villian, and co-mutant standpoint this movie left a lot to be desired. Wolverine deserved better than looking like he couldn't handle some fucking mortals..This is the guy that fought the phoenix and won for christ sake...
To me this movie was like watching my great grandma die in a nursing home as a senile old woman...

It continues the lineage of bad villains faithfully -- Barakapool, Samurai Sentinel, now a younger copy of Hugh Jackman.

Otherwise, what a great, bloody (at last) Wolverine western.

I think the rumor was that Liev Schrieber was supposed to be back as Sabretooth as the villain instead of the Jackman clone- it would've made the movie a lot better and let the brother's story come full circle in the end i think. Like respect to Jackman for getting huge for his clone version, but it didn't add anything to the movie.
