Not sure which forum to post in, but everything is political nowadays, guns even more so.

Republicans tried to do it before several times, and failed. Let's see if this will go any further with President Trump at the helm. They will need to sell it to him as a safety promoting feature. Give him a copy of "More Guns, Less Crime" and point at Chicago.


Cornyn Introduces Concealed Carry Reciprocity Bill

WASHINGTON – Today U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) introduced the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, legislation to allow individuals with concealed carry privileges in their home state to exercise those rights in any other state that also has concealed carry laws, while abiding by that state’s laws.

“This bill strengthens both the constitutional right of law-abiding citizens to protect themselves and the power of states to implement laws best-suited for the folks who live there,” Sen. Cornyn said. “This legislation is an important affirmation of our Second Amendment rights and has been a top priority of law-abiding gun owners in Texas for a long time.”

YES!

The CC permit situation needs to be rectified. Petty squabbling between states has ruined it. Georgia and SC, while being right next to each other, don't have reciprocity due to some catfight their respective state assemblies got into a while back. Makes it a ballache for all their citizens.

Why am I not surprised. For all the anti gun organizations that he funds, he probably had five drafts before it was introduced.

The good news is that he's been spending a lot of money for not a lot of return, his latest was a loss in CO, I think.
