Hey,

I'm back from my six weeks trip to Southeast Asia of which I spent three weeks in Cebu to have a nice time with the local girls. I already travelled a lot all over the world (backpacking) but it was the first time that I have been at one place especially for hooking up with the local girls. Let me tell you, it was a blast, even if there where already foreigners who tried to hook up with local girls everywhere.

My next destination for meeting local girls will be definitely Indonesia, but I'm not sure about the city even though I read every topic about Indonesia here in this forum.

The main option is Jakarta of course. I read the city is dirty, the traffic is absolutely crazy and consumes your time and it is boring, but still it's worth it when it comes to the girls.

Isn't there another city that has at least less traffic, which is still not too conservative and with lots of options when it comes to girls? Like Cebu in the Philippines if Manila would be Jakarta.

Jakarta is dirty and sucks in terms of traffic. I mean the girls are good but everything else kind of sucks.

Your better off going to Bangkok or another more first worldish place.

Indonesian ladies can have cute face and sultry body. They can be fun to be around or extra annoying depending on the day. The white god factor can be super high.

You have 2 options in my opinion:
1/ You choose the secure option, and you go to Jakarta and/or Bali (I don’t know Bali, I have been to Jakarta)
2/ You choose a more “adventurous” option, and you visit different cities. If after 1 or 2 day you don’t like this city, then you just go to an other place.

If you are visiting an off the beaten path place in Indonesia, check if there is the sharia law or if it's a dangerous place.

2. Yogyakarta
3. Bandung

In that order. Everything outside of Java and Bali is not worth going for girls because it is way too conservative.

However, I don't think there is much difference between Surabaya and Jakarta. There is less traffic in Surabaya, but in both cities there is nothing to do during the day and the infrastructure is quite poor. Much more available girls in Jakarta but in Surabaya you will have almost no competition and your status as a white guy will be through the roof. Not even tourists go to Surabaya because there is nothing to do there.

I recommend to start off in Jakarta for a few days, then take a train to Bandung, then to Yogyakarta and to Surabaya (or fly from Jakarta to Surabaya and then make your way back to Jakarta via train). It's easy to travel on Java and there are many things to do on the way such as Borobodur and Prambanan temple, Mount Bromo and Kawah Ijen. This would make for the perfect 2-3 week trip which you can finish off with some time on the beach in Bali.

If you like to party in fairly swanky clubs, have a fair bit of game about you and shoot for decent quality, go to Jakarta

If you are on a budget, spend all day swiping tinder and your game is basically 'being white', go to one of the other cities

I have game but I'm not really into partying for meeting girls. I prefer daygame and I prefer meeting more relaxed, cute, quiet (not shy) and down to earth girls than meeting crazy, fancy party chicks.

Thanks RagnarLothbrok for your post. Are there good malls and outside areas like parks for daygame and dates in Surabaya, Yogyakarte and Bandung? Close to which mall would you get an apartment in those cities?

I will spend more time at one place, because I'm more interested in meeting girls for several times than in one night stands.

The biggest and best mall in Surabaya is called Tunjungan Plaza. You should stay as close to that mall as possible. As for Yogyakarta and Bandung I can't recommend anything. Have only been there for two days and did mostly touristy stuff. But it should be easy to find the best malls with a quick Google search.

Can anyone give more detailed Information about Surabaya, Yogyakarta, or Bandung? How is daygame at the malls? What's the chance of a hot girl speaking English after I approached her at the mall? Did anyone spend more than a week in one of these cities and tried to pick up girls at daygame?

In Bandung, check out that club called Shelter. I was in Bandung with my friend, going out on Sunday night, expecting nothing much - it was one of the funnest nights I have had so far in Indonesia. That club is busy every day of the week, the negative point is that the entrance is free so they let all the scum get in too. A guy offered his girlfriend to us in front of her for 100.000 IDR, she was just begging us to buy her a drink lol.

Bali - outside Kuta like Seminyak area. Avoid the Aussie invasion!! Plenty of girls from Java there trying to mingle.

Jakarta is good but day game is tricky outside malls. City is big and ugly. Impressive for nightlife options. Though it seems everyone smokes at night! Coffee shops actually not a bad bet for meeting chicks there during the day and coffee is great too if you know where to go.

I may be wrong but Surabaya was supposed to be pretty big for the college scene, there were multiple college campuses so focus on finding those scenes on Google maps.

I've been to Yogyakarta which is an amazing place but I dont really remember much of the city. It was a pretty happy city and think the girls would be open to cold approach there and ripe with domestic travel. Let us know how it goes

I hear good things about Yogyakarta from a tourist perspective. Coming to a place just to bang girls is fine but you should do some touristic activities at the very least.

For travelling around the Yogyakarta area, this article is great. Personally, I only had time to visit the temples and quick glimpse of the city, but I plan on going back to do more.

The city is small, going there to try and find girls outside malls probably won't lead to much success. Same with Bandung, can't comment on Surabaya as I haven't been there.
Jakarta has lots of malls, but there's not really much to do, especially if you're not into nightlife...but that is where you will find the hottest girls.

I actually think Bali is underrated, there are loads of nice girls there, just working standard jobs (retails, restaurants/bars etc) that speak English and are quite approachable.

Yes the WGF is there but if with minimal effort you're thinking tons of hotties are going to break your door down into your room, you're in for a let down.

You still need game.

Albeit not the Western psychological dread warfare type of game... But nonetheless, game is required if you want quality girls. This is true anywhere in the world.

Is it easier to take the train or fly if I'm planning on going to Bandung, Yogakarta, Surabaya, and Bali? I'm more concerned on how much time I spend from point A to point B than saving a few bucks but if the train isn't too horrible the flexibility is nice.

Hate to admit this but Aussie women are too tempting and easy in Bali, even for someone in their early 40s like me (looks 30 something). The 20 somethings are out of my league, but anything 30 plus is fair game and I have never failed to score multiple times on numerous visits to the island.

In terms of Indo women, I'd stick with Jakarta. I went out in Medan one night and was eye f***ed to high heaven, but nothing happened as I was not hanging around there long. I do plan to go back one day and will report on my findings.
