I get nostalgia over high school / middle school crushes too, you remember them at their hottest and sweetest. i was 5, she was 16 - singing in the acapella on the day cruise down the dnepr river. i promised to marry her when i turned 18. she didn't want for me and got married/had children first way before i turned 18. i still remember her energy, though i don't remember her looks anymore beyond the fact that she was young, fresh, short and a brunette - most likely with straight hair.

i think she had a frozen sub-personality right around my age that i resonated with and fell in love with - even if for one day. my mom's youngest sub-personality was also five year old - until very recently when i stepped into the role of the father, rather than a son, to her, so i'm pretty sure that contributed A LOT to this VIVIDEST memory of my "love" childhood.

i simply CANNOT recommend the book "there is not such thing as a negative emotion" enough for you to help yourself (given that you've been faithful to your wife for quite some time, you MUST have a sub-personality around the same age as her) and, most importantly HER.

READ it ASAP, absorb what is needed and shit out the rest - as Bruce Lee himself (or any other sage) advised us.

My first crush nearly got me thrown out of school.

We were both 14, she was a quiet nerdy cute little thing. Her green eyes knocked me dead the first time I spoke to her.

It took me the best part of 6 months to ask her to be my girlfriend, I was so infatuated my throat would close up when the conversation steered in that direction.

We dated, her parents hated me but didn't realise her daughter wasn't really as innocent as they thought.

To cut a long story short, she broke my heart a year later. Started dating a 24 year old (at the age of 15) he and his 'boys' would wait outside the school gates to fight me.

I ended up throwing a good sized rock at her which hit her in the face making her nose bleed (it was not intentional)

A year later he was beating her up, had got her pregnant and her parents disowned her.

I thank her for letting me go now.

Around 8 or 9... same girl every boy in a hundred mile radius had a crush on. She was a couple of years younger than me and just angelic, something really special. Flawless beauty, I've no doubt she would have been in advertisments for something or other if she had been discovered.
I did better than most of the other guys, in that I went over to her house to hang out with her a bunch of times (it was a huge, grand old antique-filled place with brick stables full of unbelievably expensive horses, a driveway featuring a BMW and a Merc, and stuff like that ). The one boy she spent most of her time with though was a totally gay homo fag. I didn't even really know what gay was at the time, but I knew he was it (and he is today obviously, openly gay) he was like a walking stereotype.
As to be expected, she and her family moved away long ago and I lost contact with her.

Fast forward 20 odd years

I'm at the bar at a large festival, it's well into the evening on what would go on to be the day that I set the record for the most alcohol l have ever consumed in a 24hr period when a beautiful girl comes up and asks me if I am my brother. "No" I tell her, "But he's just over there"

Took her over to see my brother and friends and chatted for a while.

A girl from my class in 5th grade. I was around 10-11 at the time. I remember trying to flirt with her by teasing her on occasion, - she would almost always get pissed off, and I'd enjoy it.

Apart from her cute face, I liked her because she was the tallest girl in class. Even today I like tall women, and whenever I muse about it I always remember that girl from school. I don't know why tall women are my type, but since I apparently had a preference for them when I was 10 it must be something subconscious. My first crush? When I was about 1 year old, i dont remember it but i have photos of it from my mom.
