Been messaging this girl on an online site for travellers (not a dating site) and I suggested we meetup.

She suggested that she come over to my place on the first meeting. How should I approach this? I said yes but I've never come across this situation before.

How comfortable with it are you?

Up until recently I never had women at my house at all for fear of weird shit going down like: petty thievery of valuables, getting set up for a robbery later, false rape accusations seem more plausable at your pad. I stopped kicking it with hoodrats though and I will now easily suggest a first meet up at my pad and it doesn't bother me at all because I screen for any kind of behavioural defects I see as potential trouble. If i am unsure of the situation I meet them somewhere else before, like i go pick them up and be like "you know what i'm starving lets go grab some food". If it looks sketch then fuck it.

Basically man if you get a girl back to your pad you're fucking her, girls aren't stupid they know they are opening themselves up to AT LEAST the possability to that. I wouldn't say you have it in the bag but it sounds like all you have to use is "don't fuck up" game. Which is basically just slowly escalate throughout the evening, deal with some LMR and you're good. Plus the girl is traveling, she's most likely not going to be afraid of being a slut.

"Don't fuck up" is the best advice.
Prepare a "game plan" - flow that will lead her from the door to your bed.

Have you established beyond all reasonable doubt that she is not in fact a SIF?

Best to first meet up at a bar or coffeeshop near your pad because you never know.

sounds a bit shady. I can't think of any hot girl who is that easy but you never know, some girls are just sluts. I'd meet her in a public place first like a coffee shop. Sit down for 10-15 minutes and screen her (make sure she's not trying to rob you and isn't a SIF). If she seems normal then take her back and bang.

I had many girls come straight to my place but I usually wrap it in to give them plausible deniability, like "I'll make us some cocktails and then we go out" (after I eased into the subject and boast about my superior bartending skills). Sometimes they were SIFs, sometimes hot 8s. If the girl is insisting, it's a red flag and I would make sure there's nothing funky about her.
