Bureaucracy is a nightmare in these 3rd world shitholes and transportation is even worse. Can you imagine stuck in traffic and spending 3 hours going 20km from three airport to the hotel? Well I just went through that in my first few days in Jakarta, Indonesia. The service is garbage here unless your going to places catering to expats but your paying almost western prices. The lack of communication and there general laziness of these locals is really something to be desired.

Once in a while I miss proper infrastructure and not having those WTF moments.

Then again there cheap food, tropical weather, and cheap taxis.
