Where to draw a line between a chick making you jealous and something you got to keep an eye on?

If a chick that i'm dating keeps mentioning some random guy, is she trying to make me jealous, just having random conversation, or something I got to keep an eye on.

How would I keep an eye on things and what would you do in that situation?

I know some guys will come in and say if she wants to cheat she will, and I know that. But I know some situations can be avoided with game.

Most of the time chicks are only trying to make dudes jealous to be vindictive, meaning the dudes fucked with them first, and this is payback.

If that's not the case, this chick is subtly telling you that at this point in the game, you don't mean that much to her, and she hasn't closed the door on her other suitors.

If she's like Rob or whoever "was so cool, he drove a sick ass pimped out Range Rover", or "Mike is such as baller, he takes his girlfriend out to the nicest restaurant every weekend", shit like that maybe her way of making you jealous, insecure, or subtly hint that she wants you to do something for her.

Women love to test men, to see how they react ("alpha congruency"/?), and too see their boundaries and limits of how much they can get away with. I also have this theory that many women (esp. young hot, self-absorbed Amer. women), engage in what I can "subtle psychological sabotage", in order to make their men jealous, as a way to manipulate and play their emotions. It's some really fucked up shit.

My advice to the OP is listen to what she is saying with a bit of healthy skepticisim and realize that she may be testing you and trying to elicit a certain response (jealous, anger, insecurity, attention, etc.), so it is important to be self-aware. It's never a good idea to make too many assumptions, without reviewing the facts.

If this is a constant theme with your woman, that she's trying to make you jealous or fuck with your head, I know the type, and she's normally a cold hearted, vindictive, manipulative bitch. Sometimes these things take a while to figure out, or we learn them the hard way.

I think if you have to keep an eye on it you've already lost. My last gf I remember I wasn't jealous at all and encouraged her to talk and be nice to guys when they hit on her or whatever and she was totally "in love" and faithful. My other girl before that I was super insecure and one time she told me "you know that other time we fought I almost called my friend to have me pick me up in his ferrari to make you jealous" It was a terrible relationship.

She always has to know you're willing to walk away. I guess I wasn't totally into her though.... hard to do when you are I suppose?
