Female relative sends me a screen shot of an airline notice that's banning people from the 7 countries from boarding to America. She says some "omfg the world is going to shit" line.

Letting off some steam here. Long post probably.

I just had a life-changing event this weekend. I've been having a bit of a personal crisis lately, and I just got hit hard - very hard, when I was down. It went a little something like this:

Just went to my folks to spend Easter with them. They have very bad health. They are cripples. They are also emotional and spiritual cripples, but we won't go in to that here. They are physical cripples. They are also boomers.

My Step-Dad is a Marxist. Not just a Marxist, but a Trot. This is not an euphemism. He hand-waves away what Stalin did saying 'but Stalin should never have got in - Trotsky was the man - Stalin wasn't real communism'. He also is a big fan of Mao-Tse-Tung.

"But wasn't he responsible for the deaths of millions?"
'You see, you make the same mistake everyone else makes - YOU MUST NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ.'
"Ok"

My Step Dad has a hard on for Trump. He never swears. Ever. But over the dinner table, he calls Trump a 'fucking prick'. And all those that support him.

I guess there is no converting him then.

He is gravely ill, and probably won't live much longer - his prognosis is a couple of years. You would think he would accept the love of those around him. But no, he is a Marxist and a loony lefty. He will fight to his grave. Even if it means abusing my mother at the dinner table. But she made her bed.

It developed like this: I made a point of agreeing with everything he said. Yes, trump is a fucking prick, so are all the people that support him. Yes, ALL Americans are fucking animals that need to be exterminated because they are the lowest form of scum, can only think on the level of an Animal, and have caused all the world's ills and must be eradicated. Yes, Jeremy Corbyn is God and will be the next Prime Minister of the UK. When he does, the glorious red revolution will come and we will reign again Komrades and have our day.

He also believes in camps for dissenters, and he is not joking. This is what I am dealing with. My poor fucking mother. Who has just martyred herself to him. See the AnonymousBosch Gamma thread for more info.

So, I play along with it, knowing he has a serious heart condition - that he might pop his clogs at any moment. But I make a mistake, fool I am. When he came back from the toilets, he heard me talking about Pakistani Rape Gangs. He interrogated me. He raised his voice. He used abusive language in front of my Mother. He kept talking and would not allow we to talk. He wanted to rip my fucking spine out. Then the cunt actually stared me out. Man to man. He stared me out. When he had finished his little speech.

And guess what I did? I looked long in to his eyes. My Mother to the left of me. And he held his gaze harder. I did not flinch. It went on some time. It became embarrassing. But I held the line. He broke. I won. He then further verbally abused me, asking me for proof, statistics - when I gave them he said: I don't care about young children being drugged and raped by Pakistani gangs. Islam is a holy religion. Christianity is scum. They murdered millions and they must be eradicated. I don't care about those children, first, I don't believe it, and even if I did believe it, I don't care. So uh!

I thought: man we got a bad ass here. Ok. So I simply said: I disagree with you (after his attempt to belittle and dominate me). This made him want to kill me. He then proceeded to stare me out again with a look that said: I am going to fucking rip your spine from your back.

So what did I do? Yup. Same thing.

I looked harder and deeper in to his eyes. 6'5" and a decent bit taller than me, but let's go.

He tried to hold his gaze longer again, thinking this time I would crack. But no, this time, I even clenched my jaw and curled my lip just to show I meant fucking business. Try and intimidate me you cunt in front of my Mother?

He backed down and I humiliated him. Twice. Game over.

It was all over bar the crying from that point. I had to get the fuck out of dodge and it cost me 50 Euros for a Taxi to get home.

My Mother sided with him, though at the time she called him an arsehole and said he was wrong. Next day, all is forgotten and I am to blame. All for trying to keep the peace. But I dared to mention the Pakistani Rape Gangs that do not exist, and even if they do, he doesn't care.

I broke him. I fucking broke his back. I also lost my Mother who I can never have respect for again. I will be there for her. But she is a coward. This is the red pill, fam. Pure red pill.

Ok, that's probably enough for now. You get the picture.

He goes in to hospital tomorrow for a brain scan for suspected brain cancer. But it's no excuse, he always was an authoritarian arsehole, hence my brother having a fight with him xmas time. You really don't know the shit and drama that has gone on in my little world the last months. And it's probably better that way.

Old boomers, on their last legs are fucking dangerous. For him to do this to my mother has she has to come to terms with the death of her son via cancer, is reprehensible. To crush her other son in his weakest and most vulnerable moment? Priceless.

I should be sad. But it's time to crack on. I won't ever set foot in that house again. I will not go to his funeral, and he will not be allowed to go to my brother's funeral.

All because I'm a fucking racist for calling out Pakistani Rape Gangs.

It's personal, and I hope it does come to blood. I'm not like the other pussies in my country. If you aren't prepared to go to prison or end up in a hospital, you don't count.

My step-dad gets a free pass now. I won't link to his blog that no one reads. He also got banned by the Labour party for being too extreme left wing. He really is a fucking full on Marxist.

How did you spend your Easter?

I know what it was all about. My brother had humiliated him in a fight, and he had no one else to prove his masculinity with. The fool. So he thought he'd pick the only person at all in his little world. And it backfired bigly. It's my mum I feel sorry for, but she has made her choice. She will come crying when he dies. All full of sorry and tears. And I'm ready for her.

I don't like washing my dirty laundry in public, but what the hell. There was a thread on it.

I tried my best to keep the peace. Lying, eating shit. But still, I did not fully submit and I was found out. A man that puts politics before his family is no man. There is a duty of the guest to be respectful to the host, but it works both ways - a host should not abuse his guest.

Just know there are men in England that want to see Americans killed, that want Islam to flourish. He hates Christians by the way. Really fucking hates them. Calls them fools, laughs at them. But Islam is Ok because is is holy. The poisoned western mind can not understand it, but soon we will. Islam will conquer all. If you need more proof of how Lunatic Lefties tie in with Islam look no further.

He cheers when American sercvicemen get their arms and legs blown off - they deserve it - leave the Middle East alone! He smiles when a terrorist attack happens in the west - they deserved it. This is my family. What I have to put up with.

But I have my own differentiation. I'm my own man. I have a pretty strong set of principles as you may be able to tell from my shitposting here. I'm on the side of Trump (for now), and I'm certainly on the side of all good Americans (forever), till all this shit gets sorted out, one way or another.

But fucking staring someone out over the dinner table at Easter? It didn't go in the direction he was hoping for, let's just say that.

Most of my family are Trump supporters with the exception of my uncle who worked in film and was ranting to my brother that Donald Trump would destroy his retirement.

It's harder when most of your friends and acquaintances have Trump Derangement Syndrome. They always have to talk how terrible he is, they believe the "He's a puppet of the Russians" narrative and how the Republican Party should be abolished. Like I mentioned before, these friends are Bernie supporters or libertarians. They have a hard on hatred for Republicans despite the fact they live in Buffalo where they have been politically dead for decades and the Democrats always run the show no matter what happens. My roommate supported him, he used to be liberal until Gamergate.

Most of the time, I just tune out because these people haven't been in a place where's then been political competition and a change of guard in politics. I don't think the GOP would do better, but it would be nice to see a politician run Buffalo, NY that's not a Democrat even if it was only for one term. The local newspaper is pretty much a mouthpiece for the Democrats here. Every time I state facts to my friends, they look at me if I was speaking a different language. They get their information from memes from Facebook.

Sometimes, I wish I was abducted by aliens.

With respect to you, you ask an honest question, and I will try to give an honest answer.

Marxists are victims of the ruling class. That makes them very dangerous.

The police and the army have my support up until the point they do not. And when a whole population turns against you, well, I wouldn't want to be in their position. For the moment, it's hold the line. I trust them to do the right thing, until they don't. Then it will be a new day.

Impotent cripples like my step-dad don't worry me. But there is a wider game afoot here. Hope some of this made sense.

When the family member I mentioned starts on a rant, I leave the room. I've walked out of artist conferences because I didn't want to waste time listening to some cow rant about Trump.
Its the weird look in their eye that gets me. The way these people stare off into space and seem lost to the world when they spew venom. Years ago, I was in an afternoon bar when Ray-guns came on the TV. Some suited yuppie walks in to watch the speech and spent the entire time snarling at the screen. I pissed him off by peppering his curses and asked him why he didn't like the current prezzie. He became so mad at me that he left the bar.

He does lack power. He is gravely gravely ill. He had cancer. He kept smoking. He has diabetes. He keeps eating sweets and cakes. He's a narcissist.

He also has two children. Both doing very well for themselves, but they are estranged. They work in areas where advanced security clearance is necessary. He also worked in the defense industry and spent a lot of time in Damascus among other places. I've had many interesting chats with him. He is very knowledgeable in many areas.

But not that much when it comes down to it. He has verbally abused me on several occasions in front of my mother and I have let it go. I know he doesn't like me, and I know he has contempt for me. He's been slowly 'hunting' me for a long time.

I even used to be on his side. I used to think like him. I've made no secret of the fact I am a reformed Lefty. But I thought that discretion is the better part of valor. It really wasn't weakness on my part. It was deep love and understanding. Not being so petty as to put politics before family. He lost a fight with my brother, and this was his way of asserting his dominance, now that he is stronger. I helped to get him stronger. I rallied round and took his side, even going against my brother, who was wrong. We are good, my bro and I. We will always be good. But right is right and wrong is wrong. I can eat shit up to a point to maintain the peace, but even I have a cutoff point.

He sorely miscalculated my reaction. He mistook my higher consciousness for weakness. And he paid the price. But the worst is yet to come. And it will hit my mother harder. I consider this abuse of her as much as it was of me. He put her in an impossible position. She is also recovering from cancer and is very ill - but she is his carer. Cooking the food, washing the dishes, mowing the lawn. He would not be able to function without her, the fucking ingrate. But my mother is a martyr. She has chosen this path in life as her calling. See that thread about co-dependent narcissism and the piece that Aurini wrote on the subject - it's on his blog. Opened my eyes up a bit I'll tell you.

This has been many years coming. But it was all his doing. One last gasp of a dying man, to prove himself the Alpha. I granted him that status, and even acquiesced to him. But it was not enough Komrade. The left want your soul, anything less is traitorous and punishable by being put in a camp. Not joking. Wish I was.

My mum phoned earlier but I did not pick up. It may be he has brain cancer (he just had a test). I honestly don't care. I am waiting for him to die now, and I will help my mum pick up the pieces when he does. I even tried to work out a frame work of how I would help him if my mum died before him. But they weren't strong enough to face reality, burying their heads in the sand to their wider situation. The fools.

My whole life I have fought against the neglect and abuse of the major father figures in my family. Somehow I've survived, and I've become a better person, but not necessarily a stronger person.

The fight goes on. To acquiesce for diplomatic and political purposes for the greater good, is one thing. To deny who you are and what you really believe in is another.

To bring the thread full circle and try and maintain some relevance - I don't know if I believe in Trump as such, but I do give him the benefit of the doubt, in absence of the higher facts. I still have great hopes for him, but I prepare myself for the worst. Trump was never going to be the second coming, but if he can leave things in a better state than when he found them, I'll respect him for that.

That's actually one of the really odd things about him.

He doesn't have any Communist books in the house like Marx and Engels et al. but he has a practical treasure trove of Hitler and Nazi 'works' - Mein Kampf and all that sort of thing.

I asked him if he knew of Antonio Gramsci, but he claimed to have never heard of him. Odd, any Marxist worth his salt knows of Gramsci.

That is what is so galling about this situation. I wasn't arguing with him. He heard me speaking 'wrong think'. My mum and I had had a few glasses of wine. I don't drink wine at all anymore and it really goes to my head. I let my guard down.

Even when he challenged me, my response was proportionate and conciliatory. But he heard me use the word 'Pakistani' and his hackles raised. I was not even racially abusive. If I had said 'Pakis' instead of 'Pakistanis' then yes, that is a racial slur where we come from. Not acceptable. But as far as I am aware, the word 'Pakistani' is not a racial slur. Hell, I call Australians 'Aussies' sometimes, but do they get offended? And let's face it, they really are a fucking race apart! ;-)

The message is clear: Do NOT speak about Pakistani Rape Gangs drugging and raping young children.

I said to him: do you know that they tortured some of those children? They set one girl on fire and burnt her to death.

His response: I don't care.

In other words, FUCK YOU - YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, SON!

But no matter. It was the attempt to stare me down and humiliate me in front of my mother. That was the attempted coup de grace. But I was not severely wounded or on my last legs. I was stronger than ever. As I proved.

I post this as an insight in to the mind of the Lefty Libtards as much as anything. Yes, it's good to blow off a bit of steam, and as always you have been more than gracious. But fuck me, what an eye-opener to the Marxist mind set. This has little do with getting old, or being ill, or even asserting dominance. It is a pure shit-show showcase of the superior arrogant attitude of the higher being that is the Lefty Communist, because that is what they are.

My grandmother is likewise very conservative. She shot nineteen communists during the Vietnam War, which is remarkable when you consider that she's never left Leicester or joined the Army in her life. Free to a good home (not a nursing home, they all know her!).

My brother believes in sending all Labour voters and ministers to camps- but relax, he just wants them all to be forced to live in a Butlins until they realise that life in Corbyn's Britain would be exactly like this, except you can't leave, John Lennon's 'Imagine will be playing constantly, and you would share a chalet with the people who voted for you. Rigsby, it sucks and it sounds like you're right in the middle of a lot of drama. My advice​: if you're over, say age 20, just fuck off and never look back. Rigsby, you handled business and you did it well. I suspect you're a lot like me. You seek to reconcile a situation almost to a fault. To make peace even when the aggressor clearly deserves none. But there comes a point where you can't bite your tongue any longer. When every olive branch you offer is swatted aside and it's made clear that peace is not on the table. Merely conflict or subjugation.

This old cripple you speak of is not an ideologue. He's just an asshole, and one of a kind I'm more than familiar with. He's a bully and an antagnoist. His supposed ideological grounding is just a pretext to spew vitriol into the world, as demonstrated by his inability to get along even with people who agree with him 95 percent of the time. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that even during sittings where you simply nod politely at everything he says, he still carries that nervous anger where he's just desperate for you or anyone else in the room to say something, anything, that will allow him to go off his nut and subjugate the assembly before his mighty ego.

The evidence of this is something you already noted. Communism is apparently his life, but he's committed virtually no time to studying it in detail. Likely he watched during the 70s with glee in the knowledge that one day his chance would come to toss the infants of the bourgeois into the village well and smash "Great Britain" forever in a murderous orgy of violence. But then the 70s gave way to the 80s and the 90s. The USSR fell and so did the Berlin Wall, along with any chance he had to fulfil his sick, sadistic fantasies he'd premised his entire story arc on. All that was left was a bitter, pathetic old man rotting from the inside out.

I would rep you again if I could. I really appreciate stories like yours, because they remind me that some people are beyond redemption in this cycle.
