Before you call me a racist, I fall into that category.

For the sake of this thread, Indian = Asian, since India is in Asia. I am talking about Asians here in the states at least.

Now before I even came to this place I read this article about the "totem pole" posted by you.

Being one of the bottom two myself, it had me down, it really really had me down. I ended up having some insecurities because of it, I ended up questioning myself when I talked to girls because of it, it really did hurt my self esteem (with me not even being 20 and seeing the world yet). What is worse is I have never seen a man of my background ever date or marry interracial either so they completely thrashed my self esteem.

Then I came to a conclusion based on my observation and being around Asians:

1. Academic pursuits are put before all else including personal health, personal hygiene, personal goals, free time, and social life. You must go to a top med school to earn the respect of your parents and you better believe they will do ALL in their power to make sure you do not go anywhere else but where they want you to go. Mines even sent me to a high school which did not have sports, inconsiderate people I must say.

2. Social life is undermined. While Asian parents (remember this includes Indians) make their kids submissive, this trait pays off for Asian women but kills the males as most of them are seen as "beta" males.

3. Most Asian kids have already been picked on earlier on in elementary or middle school by Black, Latino, and White kids so they see being Asian as being a disadvantage, this lowers their self esteem, something you need in order to be successful with women.

That is why Asian males end up scoring near bottom, if one was alpha, I am betting huge bucks he would get just as much girls as an Italian, Irish, Swedish, or German guy would, if not, even more.

I agree...? but you cant just generalize like that,i know plenty of people who are betas(shy,let people walk all over them etc) and weren't raised the way you described above.I know some asian gang bangers who are "bagging bitches" all day.Get out of your own head,get out there and hit on some girls!

This was actually a good post, especially points 1 and 2. You took the time to analyze your particular situation and found reasons as to why you're in that situation. Now, all you've got to do is find a solution to get out of that predicament.

Whereas being a rebellious young man is seen as normal and natural in America, that sort of behavior is not tolerated in Asian cultures. What would be seen as parental abuse in America is seen as discipline in Asian cultures.

The biggest thing that stops Asian guys from going after what they want is the guilt their parents try to put on them. Usually, Asian families immigrate from poor countries. The parents make sure to sacrifice everything they can to give their children the best chance to "make it" and have a comfortable life. Then, when the child decides that he doens't want to live a workaholic 9-5 job and a meaningless sexless life, the parents remind him of all the sacrifices they made for him.

It is as if Asians guys have some sort of debt to their parents. Typically, Asian families look at their oldest son, or only son, or all of the sons, as the future breadwinners of the family that will take care of them in old age. Asians guys have a lot of pressure to succeed academically and professionally.

If I'm not mistaken, the children usually live with their parents until they get married. Fix that shit. Move out. You cannot get laid if you live with your parents, especially if they're the strict conservative types.

I see them all the time. Asian kids with a sad look in their eye with overbearing parents. With the guilt that their parents put on their kids and keep beating into their heads of what sacrifices they made for them, Asians have the highest suicide rate out of all ethnic groups in the U.S.

Asians come here for a better life, only to become worker drones--don't end up like them.

Not sure why someone has to post these type of polls or opinions. Worry about your own game, not someone else's.

I am not Asian (Indian) but I know guys that are and have no problem getting women, some of them have an easier time than me as a black male.

No matter what colour you are, it boils down to attitude, confidence and being secure in your own skin.

Another big thing though is the beta nature of Asian culture itself. The guys are practically raised from a young age to become emasculated, nerd beta providers beholden to their parents and wives.

I know this guy who is Asian-American, but he's a good-looking and a legit bad ass. Dude fucking cleans up with white, Asian, black and Hispanic girls in the US. Picks up more girls than comparable handsome white guys, probably due to the exotic factor.

I think an average-looking Asian guy who is cool can pull a decent beta game. To pull alpha game, he needs looks above the average Asian dude (5).
