Just heard about this app, and thought it might be of interest to the forum.

The app allows you to record up to 2 minutes of audio only, so you act like a mini radio station. Then, people who are also on the app can respond to you, resulting in a conversation (in theory).

It's a lot lower investment than video, and the key feature is the verbal responses as opposed to typed comments.

You can follow people just like on twitter. Could be an interesting addition to the forum if people started using it.

In the 1970s they called this app "CB radio." I expect it will have about the same longevity as CB's popularity as well.

Looking forward to hearing a lot of "conversations" like the one a friend of mine recorded from some phone sex party line in the 1990s and he got connected to another guy by mistake:

"Yo who dis?"
"Um...Mike?"
"Huh? You ain't no bitch! .......fuck yo mama <click>"
