RE: How to pull on Clearwater beach
Clearwater Beach has really changed over the last 5 Years. It is no longer the fun beach town it used to be. I was down a month ago for work and was very disappointed in the area. Frenchy's and Palm Grill no longer seem to have a young crowd. Sheppard's has a low classed crowd. In fact Clearwater Beach is not much fun and is dangerous.

Can somebody that knows Clearwater and Tampa Bay area please let us know where young people are going to have fun? I'd like to know where the best beach places are. Where in the Tampa Bay area are young people going out now?

Did you follow my recipe? Also I don't go to sheppards unless it's a water assault.

I did hear the beach is a little thugged out this year.

Thanks Lothario and El Mechanico. Frenchy's and Palm Grill are cougar country. I was at Ybor City on a Tuesday and it was dead. Yes, Clearwater Beach is very thugish. They just had a shooting there a couple of weeks ago. I will check out Hyde Park and Macdinton's the next time I visit. El Mechanico can you make any recommendations of bars, beaches, in nearby towns in the area that are good?

Looking into the entire Tampa Bay area but emphasis on Clearwater and St. Petersburg.

I saw you and Ali's thread on Clearwater from 2 years ago and I was wondering if the place was still going off like that.

Well.. You kinda need to be more specific. St Pete is and entire different beast. Untamed though.

I want to live near the beach in one of those towns so I need to know whats rent like.

Is there a nightlife strip in either town or is it all spread out?

I like going out so I need the lowdown where to go but I really don't care about venue type I'll go to high clubs and redneck dive bars all the same as long as there is pussy.

Work is not a concern.

Basically which is the best place to rage year round and how expensive is each one?
