It's funny that the mainstream pushed Macron as Jupiter - king of the Gods and he called himself Jupiterian.

Anon means in this constant his paid online shills.

Riot in Paris this evening, the "Yellow vests" are angry because of the taxes rise.

The guy who checks his smartphone notification when the railing is falling on him deserves a Darwin Award.

It’s spreading into the Netherlands and Belgium.

Oil is $50 a barrel. Only half it’s value during the global crash, yet prices at the pump still rise.

Riots are taking place in small towns too, not only Paris.

Watching these "protests" in France just reminds you how fickle civilisation is. Mere protests infiltrated by the typical anarco rioters which then infests the protesting crowds to create social disturbances nationwide and all based on fuel hikes and a general pissed off attitude.

If something truly terrible were to occur then it wont be long until the towns and cities are ablaze and the suburbs will soon follow.

Going to buy face, eye and other assorted protection in the coming days just for future keepsakes. Call me overreacting but I prefer to have than be left vulnerable.

Why did Front National change their name to Rassemblent National or whatever? Way to throw away 20 years or brand recognition...

The brand has been relentlessly besmirched for decades by the media, it could use a makeover.

That's not the way. You wear that badge with pride, you own it, otherwise you just accepted your enemy's propaganda and they win. Which they continue to do, no matter what, mostly because the right in Europe is run by a bunch of hapless amateurs.

"Even if Macron wins, five more years of neoliberalism in France could further bolster Le Pen’s National Front."

"Macron appears, at best, as a temporary solution for capitalism and its political representatives; another way to buy time, which seems to be the only thing capitalists can do anymore."

This is the dominant interpretation of a slogan that emerged soon after the results were announced: “Macron 2017 = Le Pen 2022.”

https://www.jacobinmag.com/2017/04/franc...en-marche/

"Emmanuel Macron’s strong polling in the French election signals a political realignment destined to consolidate elite control."

the last is a must read for those interested in the structure of the elite politic-economy network in france.

This certainly aged well.
