Like NYC1 said...I wouldn't say the Balkans or Croatia is EASY per say...but since I stick out and look different from 99% percent of the male population in Croatia and I'm good looking, in shape and can dance and have convo I was exotic to the female population there. People seem to miss the point that if you are a white dude visiting a country like Croatia, what leverage do you have?? They already have there own white dudes there, unless you have something special about you then it ain't gonna happen.

Not ALL black guys look alike and no one is saying "I'm black so they want me". If you are worried about getting your feelings hurt you should stay home period. Croatia is a beautiful country and has alot to offer as a holiday vacation, if you are able to hook-up with a local then all the better.

You wont find them because the perspective of the white male is largely the default, dominant one. You just think they're movies or "blockbusters", and you fail to racialize them because you're seeing the accepted default, the de-facto position and it is therefore unremarkable to you. The majority perspective doesn't get the same exclamations or labels as the others simply because it is the default perspective, and everyone largely accepts that.

The same dynamic is at play here. Because most(though not all) travellers are white, most(though not all) threads are told from the white male perspective. You'll occasionally see users here mention how white guys do very well in certain places, but this distinction will be less common because their perspective is the standard and most common one, and is thus less likely to be singled out and embellished in a more racialized sense.

I think we have to be honest as men. Certain cultures like certain races, like it or lump it.

I've gone clubbing where the goofiest shyest guy has been pull, with very minimal game. Merely asking in a quavering voice "So, what's going on later on, then?" was enough to seal the deal.

On the other hand, other cats could have been spitting high octane game in a multitude of ancient, modern and alien languages and the lizard still wouldn't yield.

That is the lay of the land. Some of my friends seem a bit resentful of blonde haired, blue eyed guys who can go into some clubs and be guaranteed a take home lizard, whereas they (my friends, who consequently do not have blonde hair) can spit the most elaborate game and still get shrugged off.

The problem with my friends is this:

They are competing with other races in a biased playing field. If one goes into a club located in a multicultural city and they are playing music that tends to be liked by a particular brand of people, why would one think that the lizards in there would be indifferent to who they go home with?

Just want to add that although it's true that as someone stated earlier.., the whole world is a white man's Disneyland. Those of us who are something else should not fall into the trap of confirming stereotypes.
