In the video, Talcum X talked about standing up to “establishment, the power structure” and holding leaders accountable. He concluded the video by saying he was glad to be a part of the team and was looking forward to covering news stories for The Young Turks.

The only reason I don't jump on the "he is really white" bandwagon is I am black and this dude roughly the same color I am. I have no comments on his honesty, BLM, or his history- but dude is antifragile considering all the shit dumped on him the last 3 years. I did like some of the policing reforms he mentioned. My problem with BLM is their tactics- blocking off freeways, promoting violence against police, and disrupting non political events. BLM needs to focus on the police reform issues, and show more intellectual consistency.

People like this thrive because certain sectors of the public want them. They're "delivery vehicles" for victimhood-stoking, and there is a market to be served for that emotional experience. Think of them like disease vectors, or purveyors of pestilence. Like the trash TV hosts of the 1980s, they know what their market wants and they try to deliver it.

Logic and reason are unfortunately not relevant. You could show his audience airtight proof that he's not what he claims to be, and they will still defend him. His defenders are not swayed by reason. They'll say, "Well, yeah, but..." He as a person is not really relevant; it's the emotional experience that he delivers, that really matters. You could have a trained parrot sitting in his chair, squawking the same mindless jibberish, and people would still want to hear it.

Because they want their delusions fed. Because they need their security blankets. And before any of us here feel superior about this sort of thing, just remember that there are many people here at RVF who similarly ignore reality about people when it's staring them right in the face.

Agreed. I'm about the same skin tone as him and I can pass for Puerto Rican or mixed when I have a buzz cut. I doubt he's white. He looks like your average mixed guy to me.

He colors his photos to make himself look darker than he really is. Paul Wall uses pomade on his hair or at least he used to. So that hair texture is just another ploy. Dude is probably a bit Jewish or even Native American.

Doesn't matter though. White guilt in any form is disgusting. No black person with a functional brain should ever trust another person that goes way out of their way to shame their own race. It's easier to understand and follow the motives of a person with their own self interests, just in general. A person whose interests you cannot track is not a person anyone should trust at all and is likely a person that presents a future danger to you.

The female Slavery Abolitionists that helped black people turned on them when black men got the right to vote, when they still could not vote (many of the white men did too). They called us nigger and some started false accusing us of rape and even worse, joined the KKK during Reconstruction.

Were they just virtue signalling that slavery was wrong so that they could get a right to vote or serve some other sneaky interest (money) or did they really do it for the sake of the Bible because it is wrong from a Biblical standpoint? The rage they exhibited after the Amendments seems to say it was not only Biblical.

Look at it this way. When the French abolished slavery it was because they were looking to assimilate them into French culture and ways as well as the other moral and economic reasons, but assimilation was the main driver. Did any Abolitionist want assimilation? Hell no. Lincoln himself did not support assimilation and called us inferior people. His freeing us was just punishment against the South for ultimately economic trade reasons with Europe.

I say all that to say this. Shaun King is the worst kind of white person there is. His heart is cold and calculating and he does NOT give two green shits about you and any other black person. If you watched Excelsior's video, that lady lays him out hardcore with proof and facts.
