Never ever ever ever ever seen a guy treat a female staff member/colleague like this (or a male one for that matter). But I have seen this kind of stuff time and again with females giving it out.
All... over... a... fucking... jacket...
Of course, she won't be fired.
Background: the flaming hag demanding the blonde get a non-white jacket is 45-year-old Australian presenter Amber Sherlock. She's normally the weather girl at 6pm for Channel 9 ("girl" being a massive exaggeration). The subject of her rage is 29-year-old Julie Snook. Jealousy oozes from Sherlock with each micro-movement she makes.
Now Channel 9 is hunting the leaker Media went into overdrive. My bet is that some poor schmoe was on the receiving end of Cruella Sherlock and decided to fuck her over with the video. Well done.
By the way, I'd love to Snooker the damn fine blonde.
I recommend watching the video without sound and studying the two womens' body language. Fascinating to see the women emote with non-verbal communication.

wiki Wrote:Menopause, also known as the climacteric, is the time in most women's lives when menstrual periods stop permanently, and they are no longer able to bear children.[2][3] Menopause typically occurs between 49 and 52 years of age.[4] Medical professionals often define menopause as having occurred when a woman has not had any vaginal bleeding for a year.[5] It may also be defined by a decrease in hormone production by the ovaries.[6] In those who have had surgery to remove their uterus but they still have ovaries, menopause may be viewed to have occurred at the time of the surgery or when their hormone levels fell.[6] Following the removal of the uterus, symptoms typically occur earlier, at an average of 45 years of age.[7]
Before menopause, a woman's periods typically become irregular, which means that periods may be longer or shorter in duration or be lighter or heavier in the amount of flow. During this time, women often experience hot flashes; these typically last from 30 seconds to ten minutes and may be associated with shivering, sweating, and reddening of the skin.[8] Hot flashes often stop occurring after a year or two.[3] Other symptoms may include vaginal dryness, trouble sleeping, and mood changes.[8] The severity of symptoms varies between women.[3] While menopause is often thought to be linked to an increase in heart disease, this primarily occurs due to increasing age and does not have a direct relationship with menopause. In some women, problems that were present like endometriosis or painful periods will improve after menopause.[3]
Menopause is usually a natural change.[9] It can occur earlier in those who smoke tobacco.[5][10] Other causes include surgery that removes both ovaries or some types of chemotherapy.[5] At the physiological level, menopause happens because of a decrease in the ovaries' production of the hormones estrogen and progesterone.[2] While typically not needed, a diagnosis of menopause can be confirmed by measuring hormone levels in the blood or urine.[11] Menopause is the opposite of menarche, the time when a girl's periods start.[12]
Specific treatment is not usually needed. Some symptoms, however, may be improved with treatment. With respect to hot flashes, avoiding smoking, caffeine, and alcohol is often recommended. Sleeping in a cool room and using a fan may help.

Quote:And if you think this was an isolated incident, you’d be wrong.
“Amazingly, wardrobe is probably the most debated issue for presenters,” the insider said.
“I’ve seen some big tantrums about presenters being given similar outfits to colleagues. This is not a rarity. Some stars often claim the others are getting preferential treatment because they got to wear some brand or another. It’s all paranoid stuff but it sets them off.
“Producers often wish that some presenters cared as much about the content as they do about the colour of their top.”
Quote:Whether Snook had deliberately ignored the earlier directive from Sherlock to change outfits or whether she was simply busy and forgot, is not important. There is no rule in the charter of womanhood that says women have to be pleasant all the time.
We’re allowed to be sharp and assertive and bossy just as we’re allowed to push back. Sherlock and Snook came to the set yesterday with different agendas. Men do it all the time and no one bats an eyelid when there’s a bit of argy bargy or one pulls rank over the other.
...
Sherlock and Snook have to spend an hour getting camera-ready while Stefanovic and his male colleagues take five minutes.
I’ve appeared on television as a commentator for the past seven years and it never stops irking me that I have to devote time I could spend researching to looking presentable. Hair, make-up, jewellery, stick-on pads in your armpits to mask any sweating — it’s a palaver but one we apparently have to tolerate.
...
Having to put in such effort on a daily basis, Sherlock simply wanted her show to go without a hitch.
Unfortunately leaking of the footage has achieved the opposite. But she and Snook are talented and smart. Not long ago it’d have been the blokes telling them what to do — progress is being able to tell each other.

I don't think these chicks are chosen for tv because of their researching capabilities.
"A stripper last night brought up "Rich Dad Poor Dad" when I mentioned, "Think and Grow Rich""
Quote:Well, now the culprit has reportedly been found but it doesn’t look like they’ll be punished.
“The editor who originally sent the clip around the newsroom got off pretty easily because they didn’t intend it to get out,” a source tells the Daily Telegraph.
They go on to reveal that the person is “on-air” talent and that they aren’t expected to be heavily reprimanded because their TV presence means management is "limited in what they can do"
It was rumoured that the person responsible for the leak could be fired, but according to this source, that no longer seems to be the case.
Someone up the chain found Amber somewhat on the nose & decided to teach her a lesson. Classic stuff. Kerry Packer would be proud.

I wouldn't be surprised if the leaker was the young blonde.
Channel 9 management would take too much flak if they attempted to punish her after all this mess.
Wow. Talk about a fashion nazi! This is why women shouldn't run Human Resources. A man in power wouldn't put up with such bitchiness. Women often give minor warnings for things that should prove fireable. Someone with such a toxic attitude ruins workplace morale.

Catfights over handbags and tears in the toilets. When this producer launched a women-only TV company she thought she'd kissed goodbye to conflict...
The venomous women were supposedly the talented employees I had headhunted to achieve my utopian dream - a female- only company with happy, harmonious workers benefiting from an absence of men.
-------
It was an idealistic vision swiftly shattered by the nightmare reality: constant bitchiness, surging hormones, unchecked emotion, attention-seeking and fashion rivalry so fierce it tore my staff apart.
When I read the other day that Sienna Miller had said there was no such thing as 'the Sisterhood', I knew what she meant.
I can understand why people want to believe that women look out for each other - because with men in power at work and in politics, it makes sense for us to stick together.
In fact, there was a time when I believed in the Sisterhood - but that was before women at war led to my emotional and financial ruin.
