Where would you rather live, Phoenix (Scottsdale) or Las Vegas? Why? Which city is easier to get laid with hot girls in?

Phoenix. Vegas isn't that far away so it's easy to head there for special occasions.

I know a guy who moved to Vegas for a while to gamble professionally. He ran through a legitimately ridiculous amount of women (but he's the type of guy who'd do well most places) but it doesn't sound the like the kind of place you would want to live in long-term.

If you want your focus to be party / chicks then Vegas wins hands down.

If you can handle a lighter party scene and want a wider spectrum of career opportunities and a wider spectrum of outdoor activities I would pick Phoenix. You are a short drive from mountains to the north, can drive to Mexico in the south, and in certain areas the landscape is simply stunning (if you like desert). Lots of hiking and hunting and even some fishing. If you like history and the lore of the old west, it will be endless in Arizona, especially if you check out areas in the south. The party scene won't match Vegas but you will still have Mill Ave in Tempe (young Arizona State talent) and Old Town Scottsdale, but it is pretty dead outside of Friday and Saturday nights. Even though the Phoenix area is pretty large, if you are a bar fly you will start to run into the same bar flies after a while.
