I used to date a girl that always wore stuff that was a little more revealing than I liked. For instance, in winter, she'd still be wearing something that bares her stomach (she'd have a jacket on, but unzipped). She was never over the top with anything, but she'd typically be showing the most skin in the room. One time, we were at dinner with her parents and she chooses really high heels and a very short dress. To me, as the man dating her, I didn't see this as appropriate. A woman can still look sexy without it being over-sexualized. When a woman shows a lot of skin, to me I see it as more than just looking good, as it attracts a particular type of attention (in my opinion anyways). What do you guys think?

As long as it's not ridiculously slutty, there's nothing wrong with your girl looking good when she's out with you or friends.
When it comes to any kind of family though, you're right. That's the time if there ever was one to dress conservatively.

It really depends on how serious the relationship is. If it's just some girl I'm seeing casually, I probably won't give a fuck. However, if it were my girlfriend (which means I am claiming her as my woman), then I don't want her showing off her body to other people.

Think about it this way: If you've already seen her naked, then you already know what her body looks like. There is no need for her to dress revealingly for you, since you already know what she looks like naked. Therefore, the only reason for her to dress revealingly is to show off her body to other people.

Sexy is one thing, slutty is another. Given this, I do not have any problem if my lady is the best dressed at the venue.

Since we were dating, my wife always asks me what I'd like her to wear. She never buys any clothes without my knowledge. This is all her, I never prompt her to do so.

The point is: she's your woman, you decide. If you want her to be more modest, say so, and she should respect you. If she doesn't, let her go or downgrade her to casual.

My wife wears elegant and feminine clothes in public but not revealing. She has a beautiful hourglass figure so that's always shown, but she never shows cleavage (except a tiny bit on our very first date) despite being busty, and never legs or stomach, except at the beach obviously.

However, in private, she wears anything I like. "For your eyes only" is her policy.

I would say that a woman dressing overtly sexual and slutty while out with her man is a red flag. She's projecting or compensating for something to dress like that with her boyfriend.

If you're just a nigga she's fucking that's one thing but if she's your actual girlfriend then hell no. That just means she's testing you and showing out for other guys. Either way that's not good.

I had a gf like that in college. Shorts in dead of winter, etc...

She was far from promiscuous (actually a virgin) and loyal as fuck but she was very childish and had a lot of insecurities regarding her looks and she used the clothes to compensate for them

However, I think we are forgetting a good reason to actually encourage your casual girls to dress sexy as hell: social proof. Showing that you are with the hottest, sexiest girl in the place will impress both men and women in any given venue. While she may, as many have pointed out, be advertising her own goods, she is also advertising your status as an unintended consequence. All of this naturally presumes that the girl is an 8 or better.

No one is saying women shouldn't look hot/sexy. But a girl doesn't have to go overboard in order to show how hot she is. There are outfits that draw attention without making the girl look like she charges by the hour.

As has been said there is a big difference between slurry and sexy.
Those shorts that show off half her ass and that basically see through top she wears with no bra, that's slutty.
The tight jeans and blouse that show off her figure but hide the rest, that's sexy.
