In my experience, the waves aren't that great in either Medellin or Cali. I also do better with girls in Costa Rica than I do in any South American country. Other than those two factors, I tend to agree with you.

Read my post earlier in the thread. If you look and talk as far from a sex tourist as possible you should kill it in Costa Rica.

I just went through it all again, thanks for the info.
I was just wondering why you think you do better there than the other countries though. I have heard San Jose is often skipped by tourists visiting Costa Rica for its beaches but the fact that the country has tourists makes it open to Westerners, I could imagine it being a little gold mine for this reason.

Tons of tourists in San Jose. The obvious reason why it is the best is it is by far the biggest city in the country (many more options) and has the best quality in the country.

Sounds good, ill keep that in mind.
So far Northern Mexico, El Salvador and Costa Rica sound like the best options.

This is my concern.
Have you been though?

Yes, people expect the 3rd world countries of Central America to be SEA cheap but it's not the case. For example, Bogota is cheaper than Guatemala City and I don't think anyone that has ever been to both would try and tell you that Guatemala City is better in any way than Bogota except for maybe the weather.

Although if someone wants to study at Spanish school I wouldn't rule out countries in Central America.

With the weak Peso right now I think that more people should considering Mexico.

You are absolutely right. Columbian girls are not that great. My boner didn't approve of them at all.

I disagree. Tons of quality girls in Costa Rica and Colombia's quality isn't that great.

Costa Rica seems to get completely overlooked by the forum, when for me, the place couldn't be any easier and it has some of the best quality in Latin America.

Hw long where you there for mate?
Ass pucker is a term in the States for being on edge or nervous.

I've been to San Salvador for short visits on business five times. I only got to go out on the town twice. Some craziness happened both those times.

The first time, my work partners and I were on the way to the airport in a taxi, and the driver suddenly pulled a U-turn in the middle of the highway. I was trying to figure out if we were getting taxi robbed or what his fucking deal was. He suddenly looked nervous as hell. The driver said the radio just announced riots in the highway and people throwing firebombs. I still thought he might have been jerking us around, but we started seeing Toyota trucks loaded down with soldiers in riot gear going the other way.

The only other way to get to the airport was on a dirt road over a steep mountain. So that was some serious pucker factor driving through a shanty part of the city. That little piece of shit taxi could barely get up the hill. My two partners and I had to get out and push that taxi twice to get up steep parts while looking all white and gringoey with people staring at us. City peasants are scary.

The next time I was walking around with another work buddy looking for a bar to go to. We found a cool spot and decided to go in. My partner said he wanted to go back to the hotel first and call his wife and change clothes. We agreed to hook up at 8 and hit that bar. I ended up falling asleep and woke up after midnight, so we didn't go out.

On the way to the airport, we passed by that bar and it had been completely gutted by fire. The taxi driver told us that 30-something people had been killed by smoke or had been trampled by the crowd as they tried to push out the front door. Holy fucking balls.

I'm sure anyone else could go to San Salvador and it would be Rainbows and Kittens. But I tend to be a shitmagnet where ever I go. :/
