If he refused testing, then AIDS very real possibility.

Otherwise, he would be on meds living similar to Magic J.

The cock flu strikes again.

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

What is really happening to all these musicians and actors. Another month, another one passes away.

I was born in the 80s. He was a big deal back then. I didn't realise he was still so young. He has always been 'different' for sure. The 80s lifestyle probably caught up with him.

Pretty obvious AIDS related death. Doesn't diminish his accomplishments in any way though.

RE: George Michael Dead at 53
No matter his sexual preferences and behaviors, George Michael is a legend and his music will live forever. The world was on his feet for a long period of time, and many women still drip on their pants when watching him. RIP.
I knew he was a young guy while at Wham! but now I realize he was only 20 and with the world at his feet, singing some red pill truths.
When he released "fast Love" in 1996 he was only 33...my age..always thought he was older, he truly has been around for so long, "Careless Whisper" is one of the songs of my life since a kid. I also love his duet with Mary J. Blige in "As", or his amazing version of " Killer / Papa Was A Rollin' Stone" (can't get more 90s than this), also awesome and inspiring Wham's! "Club Tropicana" drinks are free ))

Also checked out now an interesting and reflective piece about Andrew Ridgeley, his partner in Wham! The winner in the end...

Why Andrew Ridgeley is the winner and George Micael is the looser.

Quote:Andrew Ridgeley recently turned fifty. In the mid-1980s, he was one half of the world’s most successful pop duo, Wham! Alongside his friend George Michael, he topped the charts in the UK and the US.

After the band split, he tried acting, car racing and a solo performance career. But nothing came to much. He now lives in an old farmhouse in a remote part of Cornwall, with his partner of many years, Keren Woodward, who used to be in the girl group Bananarama. He plays golf, goes to the pub and worries about sewage being pumped into the sea. He looks like an accountant or someone whose cement mixing business has done rather well.

So, it is natural to think of Andrew as a bit of a failure. He fell off the stage of stardom. He’s the guy who used to be famous. He’s been forgotten. He has given in to ageing. George Michael has gone on to have a stellar solo career, has made enormous amounts of money and kept himself at the centre of public attention. He’s still wooing the public and putting a lot of thought into getting his eyebrows right.

-Michael: Still looking for love from everyone-

In fact it is Andrew who has been successful. And this triumph shouldn’t just be a matter for him. The kind of success he now has is deeply important for the modern world to understand.

It’s all so opposed to what he used to stand for. Andrew was at the heart of a hugely infectious view of life. He was a high priest of an ideology, if you like, which was preached through music.

80′s pop had immensely seductive ideas about sex, relationships, family life, work and personal style. It told us that nothing should stand in the way of having a good time. If anyone tells you to knuckle down, to work hard, to put others first, to feel sorry or ashamed, to think of the future – ignore them. They are conformist oppressors who don’t know what life is really about.

It is an addictive outlook. It picks up accurately on what, at moments of high excitement, feels like the truth. It lashes out at anything that causes resentment, boredom or disappointment.

It’s hugely successful. But it’s also a disaster. The trouble is that it only works for short manic bursts. Life can’t be properly lived this way. This is what Andrew has discovered. That’s why he’s so important. He’s not someone coming from the outside pouring scorn on what a lot of other people like. He’s the guy who was there. He knows exactly how big the allure is. So we can trust him when he turns his back on it.

We don’t generally think of resignation as a virtue; it sounds like failure. What it means, though, is recognizing that big things in life – an OK relationship, a secure sense of self-worth – require giving up some excitement.

The pop idea of life was so unhelpful because it pretended that excitement was the way to a good life. So it made casual sex seem wonderful, it made the after-party look like the high point of social life. It was the continuation of a Romantic philosophy: the ecstasy of the moment is what counts. On the other hand, resignation means seeing that the ecstasy of the moment is often (sadly) the enemy of what we really want.

Andrew’s long-passed successes as a performer and song-writer have left him well off by ordinary standards. However, he could have made a great deal more money if he had really set his sights on continuing in the world of fame and glamour. This may seem like a minor issue, but a huge part of how the world works is driven by people’s relentless ambition to have ever more status and money. One thing that Andrew therefore does is to define for us a conception of being satisfied, of having enough – even when more would have been an option, but at the cost to relationships, health and family.

It’s tempting to think that it doesn’t matter much what kind of music is popular. So long as people like it, don’t worry, it’s just a bit of fun. But music is one of the biggest influences that shapes a culture. It encourages an attitude to life. The songs get inside our heads and the ideas they carry with them stay there – influencing how we value ourselves and our goals.

The life of Andrew Ridgeley belongs in the public realm. It’s one of the great moral fables of our time. It’s the story of one man’s redemption – from manic, narcissistic pleasure seeking to maturity. But it’s not just his story. He shows us what we need to do collectively, as a nation. We live in a Wham! society – and yet we need (as it were) to move to Cornwall.

There’s just one thing Andrew might still do. And that’s write compelling songs about his ordinary down to earth life now, with its ordinary pains and longings, its reconciliation with reality mixed with the odd idealistic dream. Or perhaps he could just suggest that we listen to London Grammar, who are on to that already.

"Поехали!!" (Yuri Gagarin, 1961)

The litany of issues:

Quote:In October 2006, he was found slumped over the wheel of his car. The following May he pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drugs and was banned from driving for two years.

In 2008 Michael took a step back from the public eye but less than a month later he was once again in the glare when he was cautioned for possession of class A drugs, which included crack cocaine, and class C drugs.

In September 2010 Michael received an eight-week prison sentence following an incident the previous July in which he crashed his Range Rover into a shop in north London. He was also given a five-year driving ban after he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and possessing cannabis.

In late 2011 doctors in Vienna had performed a tracheotomy to keep his airways open and he was unconscious for some of his spell in hospital.

...

He would smoke enormous amounts of marijuana – up to 25 joints a day at some points in his career.

He also struggled with depression, following the death of his lover Anselmo Feleppa from an HIV-related illness in 1993.

His drug use included a dependency on sleeping pills and a dabble with designer drug GHB.

He was in the habit of cruising for sex with strangers – an activity he declared he had started in his teens. He told friend Piers Morgan that he had up to 500 sexual partners in seven years – which works out, staggeringly, at one every five days.

500 cocks in seven years, and that's not counting his other 30 sexually mature years. It's safe to say he was an indiscriminating cockaholic.

RE: George Michael Dead at 53
That moment you realize George Michael, of all people, wrote a song about the dangers of being a woman's beta provider that's more truthful than pretty much anything you'd hear (by presumably straight artists) on the radio today.

George Michael Wrote:"Everything She Wants"

Uh huh huh,
Oh yeah,
Work, work

Somebody told me,
"Boy, everything she wants is everything she sees"
I guess I must have loved you.
'Cause I said you were the perfect girl for me,
Maybe,
But now we're six months older,
And everything you want and everything you see,
Is out of reach, not good enough,
I don't know what the hell you want from me but boy

Uh huh huh,
Oh, oh,
Uh huh huh,
Doo doo doo,
La la la la

Somebody tell me,
Won't you tell me,
Why I work so hard for you?
All to give you money
All to give you money

Some people work for a living,
Some people work for fun,
Girl, I just work for you.
They told me marriage was a give and take,
Well, show me you can take you've got some giving to do.
And now you tell me that you're having my baby,
I'll tell you that I'm happy if you want me to
One step further and my back will break,
If my best isn't good enough
Than how can it be good enough for two?
I can't work any harder than I do

Somebody tell me,
Won't you tell me,
Why I work so hard for you?
All to give you money,
All to give you money

Oh,
Why do I do the things I do?
I'd tell you if I knew.
My God,
I don't even think that I love you,
Won't you tell me,
Tell me, tell me, tell me

How could you settle for a boy like me,
When all I could see was the end of the week
All the things we sign,
And the things we buy,
Ain't gonna keep us together,
It's just a matter of time.

My situation,
Never changes.
Walking in that manner through that door,
Like a stranger,
But the wages,
I give you all you say you want is love

And all I can see is the end of the week,
All the things we sign,
And the things we buy,
Ain't gonna keep us together
Girl, it's just a matter of time.

A lot of these pop stars die awfully young. Elvis, Michael Jackson, and now George Michael. I wonder why that is?

In these examples, they all started their careers at a very young age, and had enormous wealth and adulation feeding their egos. Perhaps it is too much for a person to bear? Probably what happens is they get this jolt of pleasure at a young age, then they become desensitized to it. It gets boring. Then how to you get rid of the boredom? What can you do to top the original high? More hedonism? More sex? Drugs? More luxury? What happens when those things don't do it for you anymore?

Many famous people, some of which you mentioned, are known for keeping entourages.

Entourage (noun): a group of people attending or surrounding an important person.

Elvis Presley with his so-called "Memphis Mafia":

Presumably, the idea behind having an entourage is to keep in one's company a trusted team of friends/advisers to help protect you from the dangers of the outside world.

Unfortunately, many times these same people (ironically) help to facilitate the downfall of the person they're expected to help protect by either parasitically feeding off the celebrity until they have nothing left to give, or by feeding into said celebrity's worst instincts. They do this for fear of being cut out of their inner circle or because they themselves share the same vices.

There is good reason why Machiavelli warned against flatterers.

Niccolo Machiavelli Wrote:"The Prince," Chapter XXIII,
That Flatterers Should Be Shunned

ONE error into which Princes, unless very prudent or very fortunate in their choice of friends, are apt to fall, is of so great importance that I must not pass it over. I mean in respect of flatterers. These abound in Courts, because men take such pleasure in their own concerns, and so deceive themselves with regard to them, that they can hardly escape this plague; while even in the effort to escape it there is risk of their incurring contempt.

For there is no way to guard against flattery but by letting it be seen that you take no offense in hearing the truth: but when every one is free to tell you the truth respect falls short. Wherefore a prudent Prince should follow a middle course, by choosing certain discreet men from among his subjects, and allowing them alone free leave to speak their minds on any matter on which he asks their opinion, and on none other. But he ought to ask their opinion on everything, and after hearing what they have to say, should reflect and judge for himself. And with these counsellors collectively, and with each of them separately, his bearing should be such, that each and all of them may know that the more freely they declare their thoughts the better they will be liked. Besides these, the Prince should hearken to no others, but should follow the course determined on, and afterwards adhere firmly to his resolves. Whoever acts otherwise is either undone by flatterers, or from continually vacillating as opinions vary, comes to be held in light esteem.

With reference to this matter, I shall cite a recent instance. Father Luke, who is attached to the Court of the present Emperor Maximilian, in speaking of his Majesty told me, that he seeks advice from none, yet never has his own way; and this from his following a course contrary to that above recommended. For being of a secret disposition, he never discloses his intentions to any, nor asks their opinion; and it is only when his plans are to be carried out that they begin to be discovered and known, and at the same time they begin to be thwarted by those he has about him, when he being facile gives way. Hence it happens that what he does one day, he undoes the next; that his wishes and designs are never fully ascertained; and that it is impossible to build on his resolves.

A Prince, therefore, ought always to take counsel, but at such times and reasons only as he himself pleases, and not when it pleases others; nay, he should discourage every one from obtruding advice on matters on which it is not sought. But he should be free in asking advice, and afterwards as regards the matters on which he has asked it, a patient hearer of the truth, and even displeased should he perceive that any one, from whatever motive, keeps it back.

But those who think that every Prince who has a name for prudence owes it to the wise counsellors he has around him, and not to any merit of his own, are certainly mistaken; since it is an unerring rule and of universal application that a Prince who is not wise himself cannot be well advised by others, unless by chance he surrender himself to be wholly governed by some one adviser who happens to be supremely prudent; in which case he may, indeed, be well advised; but not for long, since such an adviser will soon deprive him of his Government. If he listen to a multitude of advisers, the Prince who is not wise will never have consistent counsels, nor will he know of himself how to reconcile them. Each of his counsellors will study his own advantage, and the Prince will be unable to detect or correct them. Nor could it well be otherwise, for men will always grow rogues on your hands unless they find themselves under a necessity to be honest.

Hence it follows that good counsels, whencesoever they come, have their origin in the prudence of the Prince, and not the prudence of the Prince in wise counsels.

Aids or drugs. The whole "peacefully in his sleep of heart failure" is an attempt to convince the life insurance company that it was natural causes. There are millions at stake when a celebrity dies so they always try to claim it was anything other than another druggie who pushed it too far.

I doubt it's anything due to being gay directly, and more to him taking drugs, and drinking too much. Which, are things you can reasonably say are encouraged by the gay community, but are also common among all these 80s megastars.

However, i've got to roll my eyes at guys on here making puerile jokes about a bloke who achieved more at 22 than they most likely will by 92, if they live that long.

If you've never met a forum member - I'll assume you're lying

That bloke was a street busker and would have achieved nothing if he didn't first suck some predatory industry coks as a tender meat. More importantly, he would have achieved nothing if he weren't groomed by the globalists who found his persona and brand of flamboyant faggotry suficiently useful in their war against the British/Western men.

Every god damn British pop band of the 1980s were openly gay, if not completely gay, then had at least a member or two that were. To get on the British TV or a magazine cover, or to have a *hit* tune on radio as a pop-band in the 1980s - you had to be fruity, andro, or gender bending, or play that game:

Wham
Bros
Culture Club
Pet Shop Boys
Adam Ant
Frankie Goes to Hollywood
Bow Wow Wow
Depeche Mode
Duran Duran
Billy Idol
Eurythmics
Spandau Ballet
Kajagoogoo
Soft Cell
Bronski Beat
Haise Fantasie
Ultravox
A Flock of Seagull
Dexy’s Midnight Runners
The B 52s
etc etc etc

So the better question is what did he do/achieve after 22, other than sleeping with 500 men in seven years, doing drugs, and balooning up to 300 lbs?

The answer is: nothing

FFS, I'm not even the biggest George Michael fan but some of you guys sound like paranoid autistic cult members sometimes with the anti gay and the globalist talk. The 80s were followed by the 90s that were the polar opposite in terms of fashion and music, so where was the globalist conspiracy to destroy the west then? The 2000s were even worse, it was just the zeitgeist of the time, things change constantly in fashion and music, what's in today is not tomorrow, the only conspiracy is using whatever is in at the moment to make the most money possible and then turn to something else, and who gives a shit if he was gay and took 500 cocks in 7 days, how does that impact your life at all? He made some good music and was a good singer, he impacted more lives than any any of us could have, that's far more than just doing drugs and sleeping with men. There are millions and millions of straight men and women around the world that listen to music made by gays and they're still straight at the end of the day after singing and dancing to a song. If you're worried people are turning gay because of a song I'm afraid they were never straight to begin with.

Desperate though one might be to keyboard jockey your alt-right credentials, I can't think of a less masculine act than the trend on the 'sphere to monster any dead celebrity just because he happened to like cock.

However much you might think that the "Talented gay" trope might be (((Establishment propaganda))), there's no denying that George Michael's music shaped a decade and left an indelible mark on the youth of the past two generations, mine included.
Like Teutatis said, his was but an epoch that defined that cultural prosperity that was the twilight of the Cold War, before a more muted and sombre Zeitgeist of the 90s. No (((globalist grooming conspiracy))) to turn modern menfolk into blue-pill, low-T, queer-cucks.

As far as his supposed lifestyle degeneracy resulting from his queerness, rest assured that there have been no shortage of women queuing up to fuck George Michael, and he would've had his way with them all were he straight. More than one girl I went to primary school fantasised about losing her virginity to him as much as they would've to Leonardo di Caprio.

Teutatis and JWLZG are right at the end of the day.

Le Sigh also has a point - I'm not gonna stop listening to Love Shack just because the B-52's are gay.
