CleanSlate, the idea was that the fake "depression" and "PTSD" diagnoses helped him transition to working part-time which in turn helped him get child support payments due to the difference between his income and the wife's. It's just another frictionless piece of bullshit from this moderately slick, purely fictional 'sphere porn narrative.
