I am not going to read her crazy eye book.

I just find it extremely telling that nowhere in the review does she mention the most obvious manospherean to reference when it comes to classical thought, our boy Quintus Curtius.

Review is pretty clear and thorough in pointing out what lightweight she is intellectually.
The passages included read like an undergrad’s writing.

And then there’s this bit.

What they say does not match the contents of the book.”

To avoid career suicide, all these esteemed, reputable academics whose work is used to teach people and whose translations provide the source text for major Hollywood movies actually have to kiss her ass by pretending to like her stupid book.

A) We are appropriating Classical philosophy dishonestly, that we're twisting it for misogynistic purposes.

B) That most Classical writers were irredeemably misogynistic.
