The Costco strawberry rhubarb is one of the best pies I have ever had.

Have it with a cold glass of whole milk to experience nirvana.

Pumpkin pie and booty, my two favorite things together at last.

Shoo fly pie is excellent, it's confined to the Amish/Mennonite communities or at least the areas they live in as far as I'm aware. Good stuff if you like molasses, especially the wet bottomed version.

cascadecombo,

You know Suits doesn't like it when you post private photos of him and his beautiful and brave woman.

I don't normally do sweets.
But I like to top off a quality meal with an espresso or Vietnamese coffee and a strong cigarette.

RE: Dessert Thread
Ok, not to quote myself, or anything, but this is by far the most perfect dessert, as far as game goes, in the history of the world.

Why?

For two reasons.

The first is, girls love chocolate.

The second is guys can't be arsed with cooking.

So if you had an amazing dessert, that not only you liked, but that women swooned over, and was fucking easy to make and cheap, because the only two ingredients were chocolate and freaking water, and all you had to do to make it was stir a little, and it pretty much tasted better than anything you could get in any restaurant, why the fuck not would you introduce it into your rotation?

Here it is:

The post:

/thread-58101...pid1398980

The relevant information:

Quote:Here's something I have made for a Parisian girl and got her raving. It is just the best chocolate mousse you ever tasted, and the recipe sounds insane:

http://www.waitrose.com/home/tv/heston_b...ousse.html

Quote:
Ingredients

350g dark chocolate, 70% minimum cocoa solids, finely chopped
270ml hot water

Method

1 Place the chocolate in a bowl and add 270ml of hot water. Using a whisk, mix until the chocolate has dissolved.

2 Place the bowl over an iced water bath and whisk until the mixture begins to thicken.

3 Remove the bowl from the iced water bath and continue whisking until the mixture just becoming soft set. Serve immediately.

Making this with organic chocolate is the best, and I don't serve immediately, I put it in the fridge and let it harden up. It tastes great, is as light as chocolate mousse gets, and the only ingredients are a couple of chocolate bars and some water.

Do it my way.

Make it first.

Chill it in glasses.

Never ever ever ever tell her how you made it or the ingredients.

Organic chocolate tastes wayyyy better. Like this:

Nothing more than 75% Dark chocolate, or it is nasty.

You don't even have to believe me. Experiment yourself. After all, it is only a few bars of chocolate per recipe. Milk chocolate. Dark.

Hell, why not have fun with it and try chocolate with chili peppers:

[Image: large_5ef3a2fc-fa95-45af-a720-af533d6ddf76.JPG]

It is too cheap to matter. You can create your own signature mousse without real effort, and keep it a secret.

I'm telling you. This is the answer.

Exercise your creativity with the glass and the garnish.

Martini Glass and whipped cream:

Martini Glass and shaved or sprinkled or whatever chocolate:

Shot glass, sprig of mint, whipped cream:

I'm telling you. It doesn't matter. It is so easy. Women are so easily impressed by chocolate and a minimum of creativity.

Never tell her the ingredients. This is key.

I have been quoting Patrice O'Neal here, because this is what he says when he knows what he is talking about and no one else is listening:

Quote:I'm telling you.

“The greatest burden a child must bear is the unlived life of its parents.”

This

I'm dating a woman. Every time I try to break up with her, she smells it coming and bakes one of these.

I'm fucked RVF. You are all invited to my wedding. Please check your keto sticks and gym cards at the door.

Yum!

I usually save the floss for after dessert but in this case I'll make an exception.
